    Window of Opportunity ch.22

The first time I saw you I wanted to know more. As I got to know you, I wanted to be a part of your life. When I fell in love with you, I wanted to love you forever. When I got lost, I wanted you to find me. When I was scared, I wanted you to comfort me. When I fell, I wanted you to pick me up. The night we went to see this movie, was the night I realized that I had fallen in love with you. I can tell you the day and time of the movie but not one thing about the movie. I was mesmerized by you. I hope as we try to find our way back to one another, you allow yourself to remember the day we saw this movie. The feelings I had then are the feelings I have now. I have loved you forever.

I understood why she wanted me to open it by myself. My emotions would have scared Angie. Hell, they were scaring me. I took out my phone and sent her a text that I would be there as soon as I got my face together. I went to the bathroom and quickly got myself together. I didn’t want to miss any more time with them. I saw them in the distance. I left my shoes at the blanket and went after them. Angie came running toward me. I picked her up, hugged her and put her down so she could run. I walked to Bette and took her into my arms. This time there was no kiss on the cheek. I kissed her on  her lips and pulled  her into me.

“Thank you. I can’t believe you remembered.”

“I remember everything. You are more than memorable. Come on, let’s eat. We still have more to do.” We walked back to the blanket holding hands. Angie was already there trying to get the basket opened. With help, she was able to and reached in and pulled out a food container. She and Bette had already set out the plates, utensils and drinks. Bette went about setting the rest of the food out and we sat together watching the sunset. The food was simple yet delicious and the company, two Porters, was enthralling. I was being seduced before my eyes. I have to say, I was loving it.

    1. This chapter was interesting. I’m kind of a new reader.. I only noticed it a few back and read through the old chapters. I was kind of mad at Bette for allowing Jodi to kiss her..when she is trying to date Tina even if it was a “goodbye” type. However, the date thus far really made up for it.

    2. i love how you’re telling this story… i see with other writers that they sometimes hurry into the TiBette lovey dovey scenes too fast… and as a reader i find it exciting and refreshing to be walking this journey with these characters… i look forward to the next postings…

    3. Oh…you had me at the door to Tina’s apartment when it was apparent that Angelica would be accompanying them on the date. I thought that would be the highlight until Tina opened her envelope. I literally cried crodille tears when I read Bette’s love note to Tina. Wow! I can’t even find words adequate enough to convey how touched I was by the romantic gesture and your writing of the scene. More, more, more…soon, soon, soon…please, please, please.

    4. Awww! You just made our hearts melt. The way you tell this story is beautiful and heartfelt. You made our day bright. As we have said before, this is a delicious and delightful story to read, that always leaves an extraordinary feeling of joy and warm in our hearts. Thanks for sharing this lovely update of yours. This “Family dating” was absolutely thoughtful and memorable. PPS Lucero & Marsha – From Mexico City

    5. WOW, Bette certianly has learned some new tricks and Tina seems to be enjoying every minute of it. Great begining to the date hope the rest is just as good. PPS

    6. Aww…Bette’s note to Tina made me cry. I can’t wait to find out what the other envelopes contain. Great story. Your writing is fantastic. Looking forward to your next post!

    7. i really like the note from bette. it’s really touching…excellent writing! i can’t be half as good as you are, but i hope i could be that darn close! =)

    8. Great update and the note to Tina was lovely. Can’t imagine what the other envelopes contain but they are probably as sweet and thoughtful as the first one. PPS
