“Who will raise me now?” chpt.6

Bette: “I would have rathered known.” She looks out the window. “It’s just…I…I…”

Kit: “What is it?” She walked over and stood in front of her sister. “Tell me.” She was desperate. Bette was actually trying to open up to her. “I promise I won’t get mad.”

Bette: “I’m really in to her…so much.” Tears streamed down her cheeks. “But, I can’t trust her. I mean…” She wiped her face. “If she’s running around with Tommy behind my back…who’s to say that she won’t do it again. I can’t stand getting my heart broken. I’m so soft and fragile on the inside that it sickens me to death.”

Kit: (Sighs) “Talk to her…” Bette walks away.

Bette: “No. She doesn’t deserve my friendship. She doesn’t deserve anything from me.” She crosses her arm over the other.

Kit: “Baby sis…don’t you think that you’re being a little harsh. I mean…yes she made a mistake, but don’t punish her forever. God doesn’t like that Bette. He’d rather you forgive someone than to not forgive. You know that.”

Bette: “I do. But, he also says that you shouldn’t lie either.” She walks away.

Kit: “Look, just think about it okay. That girl really loves you Bette. Don’t be a fool and let her run away. Go after her and talk to her about how you’re feeling. You never know…it just may be the remedy.” She rubs her back and walks away.

    Bette: “Kit…”

Kit: “Yeah?” She turns around and faces her sister.

    Bette: “Thanks…”

Kit: “No problem. Call me if you need me. I’ll be downstairs.” She walks out the room and closes the door. Bette thinks to herself as she gazes out the window.

    The next morning

    Knock! Knock!

    Bette: (Yarns) “Yeah?”

    Kit: “Are you dressed?”

Bette: “Yeah, come in.” She sat up in bed and pulled the sheets up to her neck. Just then Kit opened the door. She walked in with a white envelope in her hands. She hands it to Bette. “What’s this?” She looked the envelope over.

Kit: “It’s a letter from Tina. I found it in the kitchen on the floor. She must of slid it underneath the door.” She walks over to the door. Bete continues to eyeball the envelope. “Breakfast is ready. So, get dressed and come down.”

    1. Way to go Bette. You go and get your woman. I hope that Tina realizes how much that Bette cares for her. Bette has been so sheltered that she needs for Tina to step in and help her out instead of running. Now, unblock those words from your brain and place them on the paper.

    2. You did not just stop it there. Don’t give us you ran out of things to write. Come on, get those fingers moving,(on the keyboard), and get back to us with another chapter.

    3. Ran out of things to write, my butt! LOL So Bette was blasting Brandy? If I wanted to blast music it would be something fast and loud, not Brandy. lol

    4. Lamentamini-you are so crazy girl…lol. And for your information I did run out of something to write. I swear. I’m trying to think of how will I bring Tina in here. I’m still deciding, but I won’t disappoint you if that’s what you’re thinking. No way. Thanks for your comment.

    5. LMAO! Great CFTW! that took a lot of guts for Bette to do, ring the bell… Tina has to stop running away from her problems but hey, at least this ‘problem’is following her around LMAO
