    Tina – I believe I know you all, but for those who don’t know me, I’m Tina Kennard, the producer and script writer.

    She points to the movie director.

    Tina – Director Brian Kern and I would like to welcome all of you to the first official day of our new movie production!

    The group claps and cheers.

    Tina – We are very excited about this story and about the location. The Western Skies ranch is stunning as you can see and absolutely perfect for our movie! I don’t need to remind you all to be professional and respectful of the privacy of the owners and workers of the ranch. And respect the animals, and particularly, respect the bees on a row of wooden boxes toward the back of the house. Everybody must be in their best behavior …

    She smiles.

    Tina – … because the penalties are huge!

    The group laughs.

    Tina – We assembled one of the best groups of professionals available in Hollywood! The best director, the best cast, headed by Mario Ortiz and the breakout star and Emmy winner of last year, Wendy Taylor …

    The group claps and cheers. Mario waves. Wendy, a long-haired redhead with freckles on her face, stands up and bows in a playful way.

    Tina – … and other wonderful actors that are here with us and you all know! The best crew, the best production assistants … and of course, the best producer and writer!

    She places an open hand on her chest. The group laughs.

    Tina – So let’s all do a great job and kick some ass!

    The group claps and cheers. She turns to Brian.

    Tina – Brian, your turn!

    Brian stands up and talks to the group.

    Ranch house kitchen, morning: Bette enters the kitchen looking irritated. Kit is having brunch and chatting with Maria.

    Kit – Morning, baby sis! You’re up!

    Bette – What is this commotion?!

    She sits at the table.

    Kit – The movie production started today. They are meeting in the production cabin.

    Bette – Jesus! Are they going to be this loud all the time? I already had trouble sleeping lately while they were building their damn cabin!

      Thanks for this very nice chapter, I see the plot is getting very interesting. I bet Tina feels uneasy and a little angry and she doesn’t know why. I think she is attracted to Bette. Waiting for your update.
