Chapter Thirteen
“Darling you look absolutely gorgeous!”
“Mom this is the eight wedding gown that I’ve tried but you’re just saying the exact same thing” Helena said pouting
Peggy was standing behind her oldest daughter Helena smiling while her hands around her waist and her chin on top of her daughter’s shoulder, both women looking at the big mirror
“I know sweetie but this one is perfect!”
Helena Peabody had been a nervous wreck for the past few weeks now due to her wedding preparations. She wasn’t used to being like that, being the oldest child of Gabe and Peggy Peabody, she was used to being in control. Amongst the three children, she was the only one helping their dad, Gabe Peabody in handling their business. Her brother Matthew had a fall out with their father that he would rather put up his own business. He also wanted to prove that he could mark his own name in the business world and could make it on his own even without his dad’s help. The youngest in the family, Elizabeth, on the other hand wasn’t too keen in working for the family corporation. The younger brunette finished Art History and would rather teach in college at the same time pursue her dream of becoming an artist.
“Are you sure mom?” Helena asked
“Of course I’m sure, right Elizabeth?”
Bette was so engrossed with the glossy magazine that she was reading that she didn’t hear the conversation between her sister and her mother
“Elizabeth, did you just hear what I said?” Peggy asked her brow arched, in moments like this when Helena was getting crazy worried for her wedding she needed some reinforcement from her youngest daughter
“Huh? Um yeah that one is gorgeous and perfect for you Hel!” the brunette said then nodded
Hearing positive remarks from the two people she loved so dearly gave her the peace of mind
“Yes I think you two are right, I think Charlie will like this wedding gown” Helena said now showing a smile on her face
“Oh honey I’m pretty sure Charlie will surely love it!” the good doctor enthused
Helena turned around and gave her mother a hug “Thanks mom for putting up with my rants I know I’ve been difficult lately because of the wedding preparations so thank you so much!”

Tina really needs to tell her bosses what eric has contrived regarding her being on set with him all the time and it is for his convenience so he can be with her even though she doesn’t want it. Bette will be alright talking to Peggy at least I hope so. Thanks for sharing.
