    Tina suddenly threw her head back, breaking their kiss, and lost it. Bette hold her tight while she rode the wave of ecstasy that submerged her whole being. Tina’s body was shaking and she was moaning into Bette’s neck. The brunette brought her wife closer and waited until the aftershocks of the intense orgasm had passed. Then she slowly removed her hand and turned Tina around to gather her into her arms. The blond still had her eyes closed and was breathing hard into her wife’s shoulder. Bette held her tight, kissing her forehead and gently caressing her hair and her back.

    "I love you so fucking much…" came the sweet voice of her lover.

    Bette smiled. She knew that this kind of swearing that sometimes slipped within a love declaration was their way of conveying that there was no word strong enough to describe the magnitude of their feelings toward each other. She brought her hands to Tina’s face and looked into her eyes. What she saw brought tears to her eyes. The love and devotion emanating from her wife’s eyes were so intense that she felt overwhelmed and in that moment, all she could do was to bring her back to her chest and hold on tight. She nestled her face into the blonde’s neck and sighed in pure happiness. After a little while, she muttered.

    "You do realize that it all started with fan fiction?"

     

    Chapter 8

     

    When Bette and Tina made their way back outside, Dana and Alice had made it into the pool. At least, Dana had. For Alice, barefoot and wearing only her swimming suit, was busy running after Shane around the backyard.

    "Alice, what the hell are you doing now?" Bette shouted after her.

    "I want to make Shane wet." Alice yelled back, but immediately she stopped in her tracks.

    "Okay, that sounded SO wrong!"

    She looked up at Bette and Tina, then at Shane who had taken refuge right behind them.

    "Oh come on Shane, do you seriously think that the Portard shield will stop me from getting you into that pool fully clothed?"

    "I’m not scared of you, Al. I just don’t want to have to physically struggle with you when you’re almost naked, that’s all!"

Montaigne et La Boëtie, bien sûr !!… Un instant, j’ai cru que tu allais faire allusion à Michel Sardou… J’avoue avoir eu très très peur… Bref, excelllllllllent chapitre, K. !Je dois dire que même quand je ne me roule pas de rire parterre, il y a une telle bonne humeur et un si bon esprit qui se dégage de cette histoire que c’est un véritable enchantement ! La complicité entre les personnages, les taquineries, les anecdotes, les “dossiers “révélés au grand jour, les discussions plus profondes, les heures passées à refaire le monde,… Nostalgie, quand tu nous tiens… Mais rien que du bonheur tout cela vous dis-je ! Bon, et puis la naïveté d’Alice m’éclate. Quant à Bette et Tina, pour des “doyennes” ( du groupe, s’entend ), je les trouve fort espiègles et farceuses et c’est bien comme ça que j’aime les voir ! Elles sont vraiment trop rigolotes. Par ailleurs, je crois qu’Alice ferait bien d’arrêter de chambrer Bette à propos de son âge si elle ne veut pas s’attirer réellement son ire…LOL ! Faut pas non plus pousser mamie… Faudrait pas qu’elle nous l’énerve, hein… LOL !Enfin, en ce qui concerne les stars de ce chapitre, j’aime beaucoup la façon géniale dont tu as amené l’excellente histoire de Kanaf et notamment Bette la serial-kisser !! Très bon, ça ! J’adooooore !Et puis, je suis sûre que je ne suis pas la seule à avoir remarqué qu’en plus de tous les vibrants hommages que tu rends à ces merveilleux auteurs ( que je ne connais pas tous malheureusement… ), tu t’es également offerte un très joli clin d’oeil à notre ami Cédric Klapisch !Bon, K, je suis catégorique, tu ne peux pas t’arrêter là. C’est juste impossible. Même si c’est de façon plus ponctuelle, tu dois absolument continuer cette saga ! S’il te plaaaait…
