Alice: What did you do to your hair?

Alex kept her charming smile on and fumbled to take the pony tail out.

Alex: Mom was just cutting my hair.

Alex moved aside, letting them in. She ran her fingers through her hair, trying to mess it up. Alex kept smiling at the brunette, who smiled back. She extended a hand to her.

Alex: Hey, I’m Alex.

Sydney shook her hand. Did she ever have soft hands.

Sydney: I’m Sydney.

Alex smiled and Alice cleared her throat. Alex looked up.

Alice: Alex, Lara, Lara this is the famous Alex.

Alex : Nice to meet you.

Lara: Same with you. Believe me, I’ve heard all about you.

Alex: Well umm, Madre’s in the living room. Mom and I will be there shortly.

Alex left Alice to bring the others to the living room and she went back to the kitchen. She gave Shane a smile.

Shane: What are you smiling about Casanova?

Alex: Did you see her?

Shane nodded and smiled. Alex sat back as Shane began the task at hand. Alice soon came in. She took a seat.

Alice: Now ‘aint that cute?

Alex: No, your niece is cute! Actually she’s kinda hot.

Alice: And oh so very straight.

Shane: Really? YOUR niece straight?

Alice: Haha, Mrs. Stand up Barber.

Alex: Straight huh?

Alex looked over at Shane and smiled. Both of them knew that straight meant that they just hadn’t been with another girl…yet!

Alice: Anyway, she’s got a boyfriend.

Alex: Oh, is he a macho man?

Shane: I bet he’s a real Macho man, a muscle head.

Alex: Body builder!

Alice: No, he’s actually some short skinny kid.

Alex: All fear the short skinny kid.

Alice: HE also happens to be the quarterback for her High School’s team.

Alex laughed.

Alex: Let me guess, she’s a cheerleader?

Alice: Yes.

Alex looked at Shane. By what stories they told each other, they both knew what cheerleaders were like. Shane had screwed one under the bleachers in High School, while her “Boy Friend” was practicing on the field. She smiled.
