Carmen kissed Shane’s cheek.

Shane: Actually this was all Alex.

Carmen: In that case, I have a treat for you. I invited Alice and Lara to hang out during the storm, and Alice’s niece is in town. I umm, figured you two might keep each other company.

Alex: Alright, yeah sounds like fun.

Shane: Don’t I get a treat? I DID help!

Carmen: Why yes you do baby.

Carmen kissed her deeply and Shane kissed back.

Alex: Ok, I get it, you two love each other.

Carmen giggled and Shane smiled, breaking the kiss. Alex got dizzy again and started to sway, but soon snapped out of it. Carmen walked inside, not noticing, but Shane had seen. She looked at her worried.

Shane: You okay?

Alex: yeah, I’m fine, just hungry!

Shane: HEY CARMEN CAN WE GET THIS KID SOME FOOD? ACTUALLY, I’M HUNGRY TOO.

An hour or so later, the rain started to fall. Shane and Alex were playing video games. Hermes was laying down in between the two. Carmen was sitting on the couch, watching and playing with Alex’s hair.

Carmen: I didn’t realize how long it was getting.

Alex’s hair was now down to below her jawline.

Shane: Want me to cut it?

Alex: After I beat you at this again.

Alex smiled and Shane bumped her controller.

Alex: Hey.

Shane chuckled.

Carmen: Well enjoy the game now because when the power goes out, that’s it!

Alex: No, that’s when we move to PSP.

Carmen rolled her eyes just as GAME OVER flashed across the screen. Shane sighed and looked the ceiling. She said in a punctual way.

Shane: When will you let this punishment end?

She stood up.

Shane: Come on kid, lets cut you up.

Alex got up and followed her into the kitchen. Hermes jumped onto Carmen’s lap and she pet him as he curled up on her lap. Shane looked at Alex and opened her tool kit. She took out a pink pony tail.

Shane: We could always give you a new look.

Shane made a pony tail on top of Alex’s head. Just then, the doorbell rang. Alex sprung from her seat and ran to the door. She hadn’t seen Alice in a while. When she whipped the door open, Alice gave her a quizzical look. Alex smiled and looked over at the other two. There was a red head a bit taller than Alice, then a young brunette. She had long, straight hair and an amazing smile.
