    ”Back to the other issue, my marriage and my money,” I begin to gather up my briefcase and purse. ”Put the house in both our names, Tina’s and mine, and Angelica needs an education trust for college, and another one we both want to contribute to for her to receive when she’s twenty-five.”

    ”And you’ve legally adopted her so that makes it easier to file with the courts.” Joyce finishes writing and looks up at me and smiles. ”So! When’s the big day?”

    I laugh. ”I’ve been removed a step or two from that process by Tina and Alice. Oh, and Kit will join in. She was working on Saturday night so I still haven’t told her yet. I want to do it in person. Sometime today I’ll find the time.”

    ”Bette, my advice is to smile a lot at the press conference. Tina’s going to be your wife soon after all.” Joyce stands up to walk me to the door. ”In Hollywood movies and the people attached to them become big chess pieces that mysterious hands move around in games worth millions.” Joyce shakes her head. ”Be there for her, talk about how brilliant she is, say how happy you are for her. And you know what, kill two birds with one stone. To please Phyllis the only thing you should say about yourself is how much you love being a Dean at CU, and what a great school it is.”

    ”I can handle all that.” I smile at Joyce. ”Okay, I haven’t thought much of this through at all apparently. I call her my wife, but what does she call me?”

    ”You’re both each other wives is one way to say it.”

    ”Hm. Interesting. I’m her wife. That sounds so unusual to me.” Full of thought as I close Joyce’s door behind me.

     

    Paramount Front entrance

     

    Studio Backlot – Tina – 1:45 pm

    Located far in the backlots of Paramount the doors to the massive soundstage that holds the interior sets built for ”Les Girls” are closed and guarded as the final touches to the outdoor press conference area are seen to by Byron and Sally. I slipped away about ten minutes ago to meet Claire out of sight and in the older parts of Paramount’s campus where the Art Deco Hollywood production offices were once headquartered.

    1. Brilliant ! I loved We-Ho but this Season 7 promises to be Fantastic! This chapter is so great – I hear Bette as I read of so clearly and Joyce what a hoot!

      My favourite couple plus a great version of Joyce plus a nod to Hitchcock and Brandy – what more could I want – Answer – another Chapter please soon!

    3. Gosh, loved that chapter. Too bad IC couldn’t come up with something similar to give us, it would have been awesome. Of course, she couldn’t really do that because Jenny was patterned after her own life, so she siad in interviews. Blackbird, you’re awesome. Thanks for posting.

      Just finally caught up with your latest installment. And as promised I would leave a comment. You have always amazed me with your writing and i also like the pics.

      How I wish that there was really a season 7 where Jenny didn’t die bcoz when she died in S6, the show also ended with a lot of questions most esp. if someone killed her or she must have just fall by her own doing.

      Anyway, thanks for exploring this for us. I am excited for their announcement and of course I’m also looking forward for Bette’s reunion with her mom.

Ok first off I have to apologise for missing this story I don’t know why but I by passed it for some reason anyway iv spend the weekend reading it from the beginning and I didn’t want to leave a message until I was all caught up ok so here goes absolutely loved it and as it goes on it just gets better and im loving all the twists and turns and im so pleased you got to put jenny in here place lol great so im looking forward to the next chapter so pps.

    11. Thoroughly enjoying this chapter. Trying to sort out where stories begin and end. When I look up your name on “Search Fanfic” the story titles are not listed which makes for confusion. There must be an easier, more logical way. Other authors have each chapter listed so one can select the story or chapter that one wishes.
