    “Bette…”
    “Hmm…” Bette replied, distracted.
    “Turn around…”

     

    “Bette!” Tina protested as she gained her bearings.

     

    “Wear it for me and consider your account settled…” Bette teased, knowing there was no way Tina would show up in her office or anywhere that they meet, dressed like that.

     

    Oh just you wait Porter. I will unsettle before I settle, Tina thought as she schemed in her head.

    Two Days Later, in Bette’s Office

    Tina had called earlier, asking Bette if she could come over to see her in the afternoon. Bette was more than pleased to have her company, especially after the disastrous night she had had with Alice. She had been banished from the bedroom and made to sleep on the living room couch. Worse, Alice had declared that she might be going out of town for a few days for an assignment not bothering to ask Bette to come with her or tell her where she was going.

    Needless to say, Bette was in a bad mood—Alright, she is generally in a bad mood to begin with, but today was she sulking and pouting along with being grumpy. She brightened up though, her face instantly glowing as she heard a pair of heels turn down the hallway. She recognized Tina’s distinctive walk now, and could discern it from the clicking of other heels. Bette heard her knock on the door and asked her to come in. She took off her reading glasses and looked up from the article she was reading on the computer.

    “Hey Bette, how are you?” Tina walked up to Bette and gave her a quick hug. “I bought you some gifts,” she said handing over a small box.

    Bette hugged her back and then looked at the box in excitement. “From the sex toy store we went to? Wow, T, you really did not need to. I doubt you and I need any additional help in bed…” she joked as Tina rolled her eyes, bearing the joke because it was about to turn on her soon.

    Bette hurriedly opened the gift and stared at it dumbfounded.

    “Wow, thanks T, but don’t you think you should keep it for when you miss me,” she said holding up the Royal Dolton Grumpy Dwarf figurine.

    3. OMG! OMG! OMG! Poor Tina! The incident between Bette and Alice was a little funny but Tina has got to be feeling humiliated. Eric is one dead man. I don’t even want to think about what Tina is going to do to him. Loving the story. Thanks so much for posting so many chapters all at once. It is an absolutely delightful read! PPS!

    6. OMG, I can’t believe you did that to our girl. Someone needs to rip the office phone from the wall. Bette was about ready to faint herself. Oh why didn’t someone stop her when she stepped into the houose, she didn’t deserve that. Eric the pantywaist fainted, serves him right if she just packs his bags and throws him out. While Alice is gone they just have to get their groove on. I don’t believe in stepping out on one’s husband or wife but in this instance both marriages are already over, someone just needs to move out so “our girls” can get their relationship started. Repeat after me, “shame, shame, shame,” for doing that to Tina. Oh, will she tell Bette about this? I can’t stand the suspense. Please Post very soon.

    9. Damn that Nadia interupting the beautiful kiss yet to be! I feel so terrible for Tina, but hope it is the final straw in ending the sham relationship between her and Eric.

    10. Wow, I love the build-up to this story! You’re really taking it somewhere, and I’m very interested and becoming impatient. lol. I would like to see these two go to each other for comfort and support and hold each other before it turns slowly into something else. I think their first time should be sensitive and slow. More realistic because that’s how great you’ve written this story so far. Thanks for posting!
