The Story of Shane: In Transition 1
Sorry for making the last one so sad, but I gotta get Shane away from Philadelphia. All the tears are much appreciated. The next few are lighter, promise.
Thanks for all of the comments as always.

The train slowed down to a stop, and Shane followed the rest of the passengers out into NY Penn Station.
Shane slowly stretched her tired muscles. The train ride was way too long and not to mention boring. She looked around the station at all the people hurrying to get to where they have to go and thought God, I cant believe Im doing this.
Shane took out a scrap paper from her back pocket. She stared down at what was written there and felt her doubts and fears began to surface again. Fucked, maybe this was not such a good idea after all. Shane shove the paper back into her pocket again and walked out of the train station.
It finally hit her. So THIS is NY. Shane couldnt help but be in awe. Shane has lived in Philadelphia all of her life so being in a city was nothing new, but NYC was in another stratosphere. The buildings were so tall as if competing against one another to reach heaven.
Walking down the street, Shane couldnt help but walked at a quicker pace to keep up with the crowd of pedestrian. None of her usual lazy stroll here. It was either walking faster or get trampled over. Shane got shuffled along, but she did not mind it. Her attention was still riveted by her surroundings.
Every block that passes took her closer and closer to Time Square. The lights, the sounds could be seen and heard from blocks away. Everything was so incredible that Shane couldnt help but come to a standstill. She could feel her heart thumping with exciting. Everything was just too much, bordering on overwhelming. Shane couldnt help it but smiled.
Someone bumped into Shane, and before he could scurry off she latched onto him. Hey, nice try. I may not know this city, but I know when someone tries to pick my pocket. Give it back. The guy reluctantly handed Shane back her old wallet.
