They enjoyed their breakfast but the whole time Tina sat there she couldn’t’
help but sneak glances at the woman sitting across from her. She was trying to
figure out exactly what she was feeling and trying to understand how she could
be having these types of feeling for another woman.
Tina: (finishing up her breakfast stands up) “I really need to get going. Why
don’t you let me help you clean this up first?”
Bette: (looking up at Tina) “Do you really have to go?”
Tina: (looking down at Bette) “Yes.”
Bette: (getting up from the table) “I’ll take care of the mess in a little
while. Let me walk you to the door.”
Tina walked out of the kitchen with Bette following her. She was just reaching
out to get her purse when she felt Bette’s hand on her arm, causing a slight
jolt at her touch.
Bette: “I want you to know that I really enjoyed spending time with you last
night and this morning.”
Tina: (so unsure of what she was feeling but admitting the truth) “I enjoyed it
too.”
Bette: “I really would like to spend some more time with you. Would you
consider going out with me?”
Tina: (not knowing what to say but then finding the words she felt she needed
to say) “I don’t knowif I can do that. I feel so off kilter when I am around
you that it scares me. I’mstraight.” (a voice inside her said ‘or maybe not.’)
Bette: (surprised by Tina’s honesty but glad that she opened up) “I don’t ever
want you to be scared of me or what you may or may not be feeling for mebut I
am hoping that you will give this a chance. Give me a chance.”
Tina: (staring into Bette’s eyes) “I just don’t know.”
Bette: (moving in closer to Tina) “I can understand that. Can I ask you for one
thing before you leave?”
Tina: (still staring at Bette) “What?”
Bette: (moving in even closer to Tina) “Can I kiss you one more time?”
Tina stood there staring at Bette and not moving. Bette took her
unresponsiveness as a ‘yes’ and she pulled Tina in to her arms and began to
kiss her. It started out as a gentle kiss but within moments Bette’s passion
began to rise and she deepened the kiss. She half expected for Tina to pull
away when she deepened the kiss, but Tina had responded to her and she was
giving as good as she was getting.

Bette: (smiling, knowing what Tina is asking) “Honestly, no.”

thanx 4 the post, gosh i just luv ur story, i’m a big fan of B & T stories, and this is 1 of my faves, i think is cute that tina is confused about it, i can relate to tina, straight but at the same time being treated so nicely by another woman, it’s just confusing, hopefully tina can make up her mind while i’m still stuck with my predicament, angain thanx for the post.
