"It’s not working, it’s not working!" She panicked. “I’d call an ambulance now!" She continued CPR “I don’t know what to do to help her anymore!”

Helena quickly jogged away into a nearby lobby to get better reception in order to phone an ambulance.

"Tina!" Bette had just opened the doors and saw Tina. Her eyes were closed and it scared her. "Excuse me is she okay?" Bette asked completely in shock as she watched the stranger pump her lover’s chest.

The last attempt took. Tina gasped for air and choked. The room around her was fuzzy and all she could think about was seeing Samantha. She felt the weight of a body on top of hers, thinking it was Bette she grabbed her with both arms and hugged her tightly. “Thank you.”

 Samantha felt relieved, that maybe Tina had forgiven her after all these years. Right next to them stood Bette with her hands on her hips. She was gritting her teeth.

"You guys the ambulance should be here any minute…." Helena walked back joining them. She stopped speaking when she saw Tina holding onto the CPR woman who was on top of her. She looked to a steaming Bette who stared right back at her with green eyes.

"Good, because I’m pretty sure Tina has lost her mind!" Bette shouted, pulling her hair out. 

Tina heard Bette and realized that the voice came from a distance. Rubbing her eyes she stared up and saw Samantha looking down at her. Samantha smiled back at her and Tina quickly pushed her off.

"Get off me!" She stood to her feet wobbling, almost falling over until Bette reached for her and grabbed her by the waist.

"You okay Tee?"

"I just want to go home. Can we go home, please Bette?" Tina gripped onto Bette’s hands and turned away from the other woman.

Samantha stood up dusting her pants.

"Thank you, um–" Bette turned to Samantha.

"Samantha Zak and there’s no need. I owe Tee my life." Samantha spoke solemnly.

Hearing the endearment Bette flinched and spoke again. "Well I’m very grateful Tina means the world to me and I don’t know what I would’ve done if I’d lost her. Thank you and if there’s anything you need…" She pointed to Helena. "Helena is a dear friend she can help you, as I’m going to take TEE home." She emphasized her name, laying down her claim.
