Alex smirked
“Always liked that number”
Not the answer Tina was expecting and she could not hide her confusion.
“Don’t look so horrified, he’s not exactly on my radar,” laughed Lex
“Oh yeah” replied Tina trying desperately to make up for her early anxiety with a bit of flippancy
“That whole penis thing”
Alex glanced in the revision mirror before changing lanes into the highway exit
“I wouldn’t say that”
She wanted to leave it at that, leave Tina guessing, but after a tense pause Ms Hardy realised that some explanation was needed
“Making grand assumptions about yourself isn’t something that I do lightly, or ever really- except for that one of course,” she smirked
“Right now I’m in love with a woman,” Tina’s heart sank a little “and my sexual history isn’t exactly a male orientated one, but who is to say that tomorrow it won’t all change?”
“So you wouldn’t describe yourself as a lesbian?”
“I’d never describe myself as anything- other people might need to define me, but I get to experience it all! See the great wonder in all of its subtleties and grey bits”
“You are what you are,” murmured Tina, with a touch of jealousy in her heart; envy of uncomplicated, accepting youth
“I am everything and I am nothing,” grinned Lex provocatively
“A philosopher?”
“Alexandra Hardy”
“That almost sounds like a definition”
“It’s a concept,” retorted Lex.
Shane had no intention of pulling herself from bed as she watched Becca
peak out from under the sheets and wander out into the corridor. At 22
she’d done a lot, not in a career sense, but certainly from an experience
point of view- and yet she’d manage to side step all the crap of Shane’s
youth. Assuming Jenny was out Bec tip-toed into the bathroom completely
nude and had a sneak peak at the products lined up through against the
wall with a smile before taking care of the business that had forced her
in there. Now refreshed and relaxed, she lazed into the kitchen and
grabbed a punnet of ice cream before heading back to the bedroom.
Leaning against the doorway and enjoying a spoonful of the fruits of her
pillage Bec eased into a wide, slow smile

i’ve finally caught up to this story. I like your plot lines you have going. It’s pretty cool. Cant wait to see where you take this. Will Tina try a hook up with Lex or just realize that she should just try to get with Bette? Will Bette break it off with Jodie and then maybe hook up with Eve??? Will Al break it off with Tasha and then hook up with Nikki???? I think you need to give us some answers. And since Shane already hooked up with herself…well…the question there is will it last?? hehehe
