Rage Against The Machine – Sleep Now In The Fire

The bus rolls on and life continues outside of it.  All eyes will soon be on Philadelphia and preperations are in order.  Not everyone is thrilled about said plans however including a man who just finished watching L. Faye Buckley finish an interview on Live TV.  He calls her almost immediately afterwards, concerned about a possible catastrophe for all involved.

Faye: This is Faye…

Irwin: What on Earth are you doing?

Faye: Irwin?

Irwin: Yes, Faye it’s me.  What are you doing?

Faye: I’m preparing to defend everything we stand for against a rebellious soon to be ex-wife of Irwin Fairbanks.  That’s what I’m doing.  You should understand that.

Irwin: Faye, you’ve been a tremendous supporter of myself as well as the Republican Party.  There’s no denying that.  However, I do not like this idea you have to confront Sharon in Philadelphia.

Faye: I’ve got news for you, Irwin.  Sharon’s going to bring you, your legacy and our Party down into a hole if we don’t stop her now.  I know she was your wife for years, but this is beyond that.

Irwin: I’m going to ask you, Faye…please do not get involved in this.

Faye: I’m sorry, Irwin, but I must.  I’ve known Sharon for a long time and I know when she’s feeling destructive.  She’s turning against us, Irwin.  And now she’s bringing the homosexual agenda with her.  Do you want that?  Do you want your family to be reduced to nothing more than fodder for some sick Godless community???

Irwin: …

Faye: That’s what I thought.  Now, I appreciate your concern, but…as I said this is beyond you and your problems.  Someone’s looking to attack us and I’m going to defend whether you like it or not.  If we let her by now, she’ll expect us to do so everytime and who knows how many people will have been converted to this liberal nonsense?  Do you realize that this whole scandal you’ve put yourself in could very well cost us all???  I’m having to defend you tooth and nail.  I’m having to attack, defend, spin, take to the airwaves….just to save face for our Party.  For our way of life!  So I would appreciate it if you would not get involved in our attempts to keep the Democrats from taking any opportunities to try and take over.
