    Gene calls Mark to tell him what happened with Gomey. Bette and Tina talk. Alice and Lara talk. Things continue to work themselves out. Appearances by Robin, Lacey, Dax and Leigh as well.

    No man is relieved more than Mark Wayland on this late evening.  He’s thankful for the positive responses for the film documentary as he twirls around in his right hand a business card from Tina.  Things are looking much brighter as he drives towards home.  His cellphone rings.  He puts the card in his pocket and takes out his cellphone, answering it.

    Mark: Yeah…  ……………………..  What’s up, Gene?

    Mark hears something on the other end that causes him to look at his cellphone for a second before putting it back to his ear.

    Mark: He did what???  Shit.  Alright, I’m on my way.

    Mark hangs up and changes lanes, changing course and now headed towards Gomey’s instead of home.

    The gun lies on the floor, not knowing any better.  The TV sits there, a victim with a huge hole in the screen.  Gomey sits there, motionless on the couch.  Gene walks back in from the hallway outside the apartment while Robin sits beside Gomey trying to console a man who’s visibly shaken and lost the reality that surrounds him.  Lacey stands nearby, along with Dax and Leigh, who all share concern.

    Gene: Mark’s on his way.

    Gomey: …

    Robin: Gomey…….Gomey, talk to me.  Tell me what’s going on…

    Gomey: This close…..

    Gomey looks up at the destroyed TV.

    Gomey: I was this close to just saying….fuck it…  I….just don’t feel like I can do this anymore…  I’ve messed myself up so many times, man…and I ain’t got shit to show for it except an internet porn collection and a busted TV.

    Robin: Gomey, you’ve got us right down the hall.  You know that anytime you need to talk to someone, we’re right there.

    Dax: Yeah….there’s no need to kill your TV.  Just come over and hang out from time to time.

    Gomey: Thanks, guys….  Never really thought I could fit in with….

    Gomey pauses.

    Robin: Gay women?

    Gomey: Yeah…

    Robin places her arm around Gomey.

    Robin: We’re not androids, Gomey.  You can talk to us.

    Robin’s calm smile is reassuring.

    Lacey walks over to the couch and sits next to Gomey and breathes a huge sigh.

    Lacey: I guess it’s just been a long day for all of us.
