THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD — CHP 44
“Danny — I am so scared that you are going to grow up not knowing your other mommy. If she leaves me for a man I will only have one thing to live for and that’s you my little miracle.”
Bette was praying that Tina would come back and take hold of her and swear that only death would part them. Five minutes passed until Bette heard the front door open and slam shut.

Tina lent against the front door and started to cry – how could Bette say that she thought that Tina would leave her ? Bette clearly had no faith in their relationship if she believed that it was a matter of time before she walked out on her.
There was so much going around in her head and she was very miserable. Tina loved Bette – had never stopped loving her and then there was Danny – if leaving Bette was impossible so would never seeing him again.
Tina walked away from the house and was just about to go for a walk when Shane pulled up in her truck. She leapt out carrying a 3 litre carton of milk
“Hey Tina “
“What you doing home so early ? “
“Bad hangover – hey what’s up? “
“We had a fight “
“And you walked out ? “
“I’m just so mad with her – she can be so freaking
annoying “
“Come on in – I need some cornflakes “
“Its 3 O’clock in the afternoon “
“So – I can eat cornflakes at 3am – I love cornflakes “
Tina followed Shane into her house and sat at the kitchen table. In a few minutes Shane had placed a huge bowl of cornflakes and a glass of milk in front of Tina. Tina was hungry and made a start on the food
“So — tell me about the fight ?”
“She caught me getting off “

Thank you for bringing them back together…and for not letting this argument drag on…they need to keep the lines of communication open if they want to survive. When they have arguments they both go for the jugular they need to control their tempers. Thank you for posting.
Ahem… Actually I’m 25 today because thats all I need to be… its a great age! LOL
It is so nice to see that Bette and Tina can begin to open up to each other about their love for one another. It is very hard not to dictate how your loved one should live when all you are trying to do is keep them safe. All the hormones of both women are sending them into hyper sensitivity actions (I don’t think that made sense, oh well chalk it up to being a dimwit) that they may have never done before.
Tina loves Bette so dearly.that she felt like she need to care for her and protect her. They have go to learn to talk and not just jump in to thing with words. thanks
Perhaps their relationship would improve if Tina stopped being such an autocrat and included Bette in decision making instead of imposing all sorts of rules on her ‘for her own good’. When Bette was pregnant Tina forbade her to attend to her business in any way. With the arrival of the baby, Tina alone sets the perimeters of how Bette is to deal with sexuality. Bette is 41, but even if she were only 25, she should be treated like an equal.

Great chapter babe. Shane the voice of reason for them once again. Yes, B&T need to have a serious conversation. Really like that Tina is having Bette read her journal and can’t wait to see what is in it. So my friend, do you think we can get another chapter before the weekend is over. Like say tomorrow. Just want to say Happy Birthday to Jo and tell her that only being 25 has never been enough for Ally. LMAO!!

Ahhhh, thanks for my Ally fix. Happy to see you post as always. Bette and Tina have got to figure out a way to talk to each other instead having constant hormonal drama. But, hey that’s the way in Fan Fic Land and I love it.
Well well well… Did you happen to have a sudden craving for cornflakes, Ally? *wink* I think it’s so funny how ‘Henry’ has been systematically used in the same sentences together with ‘strap-on’ in the last 2 chapters!! Journals speak the soul when an audience is just too intrusive. The fact she is willing to share her secret thoughts with Bette, tells you right there of her determination to ease any remaining doubt in Bette’s mind. Lovin’ this series!!
