    After the funeral

     

    Bette looked back on the two weeks she had spent in that motel as her personal equivalent of being the lowest form of algae at the bottom of the deepest trench in the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean.

     

     

    Finally she had returned their former home, packed her bags, left her keys on the kitchen table and left LA for good.

     

     

    But now she was back – now she was close enough to Tina that in a few seconds she could actually touch her.

    And for every one of the 721 days they had been apart Bette had fantasised about wrapping her arms around the woman she loved so much and kissing her perfect lips.

    Bette turned and found herself looking into Tina’s beautiful sherry coloured eyes. Bette’s heart pined again for the woman she would think of as her wife until her dying day. She saw that Tina’s eyes were full of unshed tears and that made her own tears begin to gather.

    Can you get me out of here please

     

    Shane looked at the former partners and vowed that somehow she would find a way of bringing them together. She could not imagine why any woman would go back to a man after making love with a woman.

     

    She fully understood the leap in the other direction. But she did lie awake at night wondering how Tina could let someone as inept and wet as Henry touch her let alone make love to her.

    Shane could see the well of hurt in Tina’s eyes – and she accurately saw something else – that Tina was still totally in love with Bette.

     

    Shane steered both Alice and Bette down the path which meant walking past Tina and Helena. She thought that Bette either could not or would not speak to her former wife but as they came level with the duo Bette stopped.

    Fine – and how is Henry ?

     

    Bette managed to say the name with letting the bile she felt in her throat choking her as she uttered his name.

    6. I felt so sad reading this, yet happy, that just maybe if they’re paths could cross, the love they have for each other would take care of the rest. Hopefully, it will, and knowing you, we know we won’t be disappointed. Love how she didn’t know Helena yet. Henry, OMG, too much to say, just has to go.     7. First I am loving this story. But I just have one thing to say I really hope that you make tina relaizes she also played a part in thier demise as a couple way before the affair. Alot of fanfic tend to portray tina as this perfect angelic being and Bette as an heartless orge. Let’s face it if she was so perfect, why did bette have an affair? Looking forward to the next chapter.

I mean she must feel like she was the reason that they lost there son so Bette being pregnant of her son must be hard.     15. in response to your comment, i feel that sleep is over-rated, yes i luv to sleep in on the weekends, but i’m not the one who is writing not one, but two totally engaging, cliffhanging stories, that leaves her readers begging for more, therefore, i think one chapter of each DAILY is not being tooooo greedy!!!

Okay, I can testify that this author really does need her sleep, as there has been several times when she has almost fallen asleep while we were talking on the phone and it was only 11pm her time. She loves her sleep! Now Ally I really like this new story of yours and hope you take all your readers advice and lose Henry very soon.
