    Every girl needs a Bette………

    Bette: well baby his taking with you is over. No more. If he comes near you again..well he better not (Bette was trying to keep her voice calm, whilst inside she was angry and at boiling point with Tinas dad and a wee bit with Tina for .well for?.)

    Tina: Bette, holy ***** will be going on at home.

    Bette moved towards Tina and looked her in the eye

    Bette: Tina this is your home.and if he comes within 1 mile of it or you and the girls then he will get a Porter kick up the arse.

    Tina laughed a wee bit at Bettes use of Scottish words

    Tina: bloody *****, what have we done?

    Bette: ( taking Tina in her arms), something amazing baby, you have taken the first step to telling the ***** to ***** off out of your lifethats a major step forward Tina honeyand together we will keep going

    Tina fell into Bettes arms and thought of what Bette had just said. She looked up at Bette

    Tina; Bette it was you who kicked his arse not me

    Bette: (looking at how vulnerable Tina was just now, she thought she would lighten the mood).well maybe I could teach you to kick ***** instead of arses.???

    Tina: oh baby I love .

    Tina stopped as she realised what she was saying. She caught her breath and looked into Bettes eyes. In the harsh reality of the brutality that Tina had discussed with Bette, in the same moment that the despicable offender had called, Tina looked at the woman who held her in her arms and felt safe..safe for the first time in her life that she could remember. How could something or someone so lovely come out of such an awful situation and difficult life? At that moment Tina dared, for a wee second, to believe that life was wonderful and full of hope. She dared, to let her dreams come out and inspire her.

    Bette searched Tinas eyes and listened carefully as Tina spoke to her through her powerful gaze

    Bette: Tinalet me stay here tonight..let me show you how special you arehow wonderful..and how beautiful you are?

    Tina: Bette..I am falling for you..

    Bette took Tina by the hand and guided her to her bedroom as she whispered in her ear..

    Bette; (in the softest of voices).then let me catch you

Bette did exactly what Tina needed her to do…help her take the first step…big hugs for you Shortbread…I unfortunately had a monster too…am lucky to have the best stepdad in the world now…I’m going outside now to gander at the 3 feet of snow in my back yard…gotta love New England in the winter!!!

Tina should call him back and tell him if he calls her again or come near her are the girl that he will have a one way ticket to jail, and if Eric try to get the girls he will go the same place.
