The Gathering 01.43 – How Do We Deal? Pt 7 – Dissolve

“I got some surprising news today.  About Francesca’s will.”  Jenny stiffened but Marina held her fast.  Jenny had trouble hearing about Fran, but she listened to her, she was Marina’s rock, and without her, she didn’t know what she’d have done this last week.

“What?”  Jenny said a coldness in her voice that Marina hated.

“She left me everything.  Her house her car and even her precious money.  Ironic isn’t it?”  Jenny got up and studied the picture on the wall as if it was something that really interested her.  Marina waited.

“Do you want to go back there, to that house?”

“No.  I was thinking of selling it.  Perhaps finding a nice condo, or just staying upstairs I wasn’t going to move there Jenny.  I’d never do that.  Not to me, and not to us.  I have no memories there that I’d like to preserve.”  Jenny nodded; and said nothing at first.

“I never want to go near that house again.”  Marina went to, taking her into her arms and holding her as Jenny relived all those horrible times that Marina had put her through.

Bette and Tina were lying on the floor their clothes scattered everywhere.  Bette’s bra was hanging from the lamp on the desk.  It was a chaotic yet erotic sight.

They’d made love for hours, Tina had an appetite like Bette had never experienced.  Repeatedly Bette had to tell her to slow down, or to give her a moment to catch her breath.  It was overwhelming, the emotion and the pleasure.

“Do we have to move?”  Bette whispered Tina cradled in the crook of her arm and Tina let out a long breath.

“I don’t think I can.”  Bette smiled, playing in Tina‘s hair absently.

“Baby?”  Bette questioned, getting her attention.

“Yes Bette.”  Bette bit her lip not wanting to ruin the moment, but finding that her curiosity was to strong.

“Who was she?”  Bette asked in a soft understanding voice.

“Who?”  Tina said, feeling sleep trying to lure her into its web.

“The girl in New York?”  Tina stiffened, sleep gone now.  She moved and propped herself up on her elbow and looked at Bette.

    1. phew!! Glad that Sam’s gonna be ok. I really don’t trust Tina right now…don’t know what’s going to happen, but I have a strange feeling about it. Wonder how Dana’s MRI results gonna turn out.
