    Kit starts to realize – Marina talks to Shane – Bette gets a hellva wake up call – Dana and Alice leave Sam’s house – Sam grieves while Shane watches

     

                “I know.”  Dana said in a very soft voice.

                Jenny walked outside and went to the stoop and grabbed the paper, she stretched and yawned.  The night still clung to her as she’d awoken this morning.  The easy conversation, the frankness and the exhilaration.  She hated the pull and thrall that Marina seemed to have over her, but then sometimes she enjoyed it, was intoxicated by it.

     

                “You shouldn’t be standing out here in almost nothing.”  Tim said from behind her, startling her, making her drop the paper.

     

                “Oh my god Tim!”  Tim tried not to laugh, and then saw that Jenny had truly been startled.

     

                “Jesus I’m sorry Jenny…” He hopped off the porch and threw an arm around her.  She nuzzled into his strong arms, then wiped away a tear and pulled away.

     

                “You are so jumpy, are you ok?”  Tim asked the concern automatic.  She nodded, hating that her feelings were so confused as of late.

     

                “I’m just dealing you know?” He knew, and he just nodded.

     

                “I called a contractor yesterday they said they would be by sometime on Tuesday.”  Jenny looked at him, not understanding.

     

                “Well if you are going to stay in the studio, I thought we should at least make it livable.  A real bathroom, place for a bed.”  Jenny was taken back by his kindness and the tears threatened again as his selfless act.

     

                “Thank You Tim.”  He shrugged, bent and handed her the paper.

     

                “No worries.  It’s the least I can do.”  He turned and walked away from her, hating that he still loved her in some way.

                Sam sat at her laptop computer, reading some of her journals.  She’d kept a journal for a long time and had stopped when C.J. had passed away.  Tears flowed freely from her grey eyes, she didn’t bother wiping them away.  She’d given that up, it had been hours that she’d been doing this to herself. 

     

                Pain, torture, love and loss.  Her body jerked as she took in sporadic breaths.  She felt like her heart was going to burst right out of her chest.  Sam knew she had to move on, it had been over a year, and two since C.J.’d started getting sick.

    1. So glad to see Bette and Tina are heading in a good direction. It’s hard to imagine Bette brandishing a bat to Tina, but it made me laugh. I don’t know why, but the breakfast seems very attractive. I decided to make pancake as breakfast tomorrow morning. =)

    2. Glad to see that Kit was questioning her sexapade w/ Ivan. Its hard to see Ivan as a woman when she represents herself as a man. Its got to be confusing for Kit who hasn’t been exposed a lot to this. Kit finally realized she had sex w/ a woman. Yes its politically correct to say about whole ‘gender thing’ its about the person & who they are inside, but is it really? Geez its going to take Sam quite some time to move on.

    3. After meeting all the gang,Sam knows she has a home. She doesnt need to run anymore. she just needs some space right now. Love will come when she least expects it.It will never be like the first but is will be all she can give. thanks

    4. That what Tina needed, for Bette to be straight up with her. And Bette did just that, now I hope they can rebuild their relationship from there. That must have been weird for Kit huh, but I guess she tries to understand that love is love wether you’re with a man or a woman. Poor Sam, I can just imagine what she must be going through right now. Shane has a good shoulder to cry on tho, I hope she will realise that and confide in Shane when she feels the time is right.
