He showed the tattoo. It was a cross on his wrist with ‘Te Quiero, Madre’ written in it.

Val: It hurted but I wanted to carry a piece of her with me.

Tina: I usually don’t like tattoos that much but when it has a meaning…

Phoebe: I only like piercings.

Bette: As long as you live under this roof you will not have a piercing.

Phoebe: I can wait until I live on my own.

Tina: We will see when that happens.

The dinner continues and after 20 minutes it ends. Everybody helps clear the table, Tina and Angelica decide that they will do the dishes while Angie, Do and Phoebe watch T.V. and Bette and Valentino go and look at the collection. Bette had built a sort of pavilion in the garden, where all her artwork was. Bette and Valentino walk to the little house. Bette and Valentino began to talk about all the pieces. Then they come across the art piece where Bette had needed to go to court and had met the senator. (Remember??? Season 3) Valentino looks a little disgusted.

Val: What is this?

He points at the artwork.

Bette: An old work. It caused a lot of tumult.

Val: I can understand why. With all respect Bette, but in my eyes, this isn’t art. I’m sorry.

Bette just smiled. She didn’t want to argue about it, it had gone so well with Valentino she really didn’t want to mess this up. Angelica would be pissed.

Bette: Well, that’s your opinion. Let’s move on…

They looked at a few other pieces. Valentino surprised Bette with his knowledge about art. He told her he read a lot about art. It was almost his entire life, he told Bette.

Valentino: But Angie begins to become my priority. She is amazing.

Bette smiled.

Bette: She surely is… Now Valentino, I wanted to tell you something.

Valentino tensed up a little.

Valentino: Uhm, what, Bette?

Bette: If you ever willfully hurt my daughter you and I won’t be friends… You understand?

Bette smiled again at Valentino.

Val: Then I think you and I will be friends forever.

He smiles back at Bette.

Bette: That’s what I like to hear.
