Sunday

She knew without even opening her eyes that it was early- too damn early for a Sunday.  After a long week of early mornings and late nights, all she wanted to do was sleep away the day snuggled next to her new lover. Feeling the gentle, yet purposeful, caresses from the woman in question slowly making their way up from her stomach to her breast, she had a feeling that sleep was not on the other woman’s mind.

"Urg… need sleep," she mumbled, pulling the wandering hand of her lover to her lips to give it a quick kiss hoping to just get another hour of sleep in.

She then started to feel light kisses being dropped on her naked shoulders and neck, and slowly her she felt her body begin to react and adrenaline being to build within her as it remembered the actives of the night before.

"Mmmm," she practically purred as her body was infused with new energy with every gentle kiss and playful touch. Opening her eyes finally, Dana quickly rolled over so she was now on top of Alice and gave her a searing kiss that conveyed all the passion and love she held for the beautiful blonde.

Breaking the kiss, Dana said playfully, "I thought you weren’t a morning person baby? Yet here you are waking up before the sun on a Sunday."

Alice let her hands roam the toned athlete’s body, which she had spent the better part of last night exploring, touching and tasting every inch of skin.

 "You must be rubbing off on me," Alice replied completely in awe of the athlete’s reactions to her touch.

"So, should I expect you to join me on my morning runs from now on," Dana suggested while gently planting kisses on Alice’s throat before starting to suck and nip at her pulse point.

"Mmmm…yeah… what? No… no way in hell am I waking up so early once I am done with this damn article…ohhh… right there…baby"

No more words were exchanged as the two women got lost in each other rekindling a fire that had blazed so brightly the night before.

When they had finally reached Dana’s condo following the reception neither could keep their hands to themselves. Quickly clothes had been shed and Alice found herself screaming out Dana’s name as she climaxed while she was pinned to the wall with her legs wrapped around the athlete’s waist.

They had then moved to the bedroom where that spent the rest of the night exploring each other- from raw and wild sex to slow, intensely intimate love making. They both finally collapsed into a pile of tangled limbs and sheets, Dana using her last of energy to wrap herself around Alice and planet a kiss on her shoulder before succumbing to a blissful sleep.

As the sun began to send its first rays through the bedroom window, the women once again climaxed together.

Rolling so that Alice’s head rested on her shoulder, both took a few minutes to steady their breathing.

“Number One way exercise to do before work: hot sex with an abso-fucking-lutly gorgeous athlete,” Alice finally announced, before letting out a giggle at Dana’s look of concentration.

“Well, you do burn a lot of calories… but I don’t think everyone can find an ‘abso-fucking-lutly gorgeous athlete’ of their own… especially seeing as I am take…”

“Damn straight you are,” Alice added with a nod.

Sitting up slightly so she could look into Alice’s eyes, Dana said, “How about… hot sex with the woman you are abso-fucking-lutly head over heels in love with?”

Alice smiled, “Yeah?”

“Yeah,” Dana whipered running a hand through Alice’s bedhead.  “I know it maybe too soon to talk like this… if you’re not ready or don’t feel the same way… I just wanted you to know how I felt… I can- ompf..”

Dana was cut off by Alice pinning her with a passionate kiss.

“I love you too,” Alice said enveloping the brunette in a fierce hug. After a few minutes Alice asked, “Do you have to workout today?”

“Nope… I am all yours,” Dana replied.

“I like the sound of that,” the blonde replied with a yawn, snuggling contentedly to Dana.

“Me, too,” Dana whispered in reply as she watched Alice give back into sleep only to follow her a few moments later.

The sun continued to rise as the two lovers slept peacefully that morning- the first of many morning spent in each other’s arms.
