    voiceover:) ‘Previously on the beginning of a friendship’:

     

     

    Bette:

     

    ‘So… erm…’ I tried to control the shiver in  my voice ‘Do you want me to come over and bring you your earring?’

     


    Tina:

     

    I was looking at the door Eric had just walked out off, and suddenly felt the feeling of loneliness wash over me…

     

    ‘Yes Bette… I would really appreciate it if you did…’

    Chapter 10, they meet again

     

    Bette:

     

    Hanging up I couldn’t control this intense feeling of happiness wash over my body.. But then it hit me… I was gonna meet this wonderfull woman again and I wasn’t even dressed yet!!!! And… I mean… It wasn’t a date or anything… but I was sure it wasn’t gonna be just a delivery of the earring either… at least I hoped not…

     

    *Great Porter, now you’re even babbling while thinking… maybe you should go see a shrink again soon… This can’t be good… This is serious!!! Why can’t you stop smiling?*

     

    Well… I couldn’t show up emptyhanded, could I…. But somehow the idea off bringing her flowers seemed wrong… I mean… maybe I would be giving her the wrong idea…

     

    *Would that really be the wrong idea Porter…???*

     

    I really could do with a friends advice…. Alice’s face popped in and I could hear the answer she would give me

     

    “Most girls are straight until they are not… and while you’re at it, will you get the hubbahubbahunks numbre for me, I think he’ll need comfort after you steeling his chick…’

     

    However… The thought of half LA knowing I was nervous to bring a woman her earring wasn’t that appealing to me… Ok… not Alice…

     

    *Now… who to call???*

     

    I kept asking myself while going through my clothes. Dana, Alices best  friend and a very talented tennisplayer would probably not know what to do as much as I did… She’s kind of goofy I guess but she’s really sweet… I smiled imagining what she would say:

     

    ‘Geezzz… I don’t know, Bette… Are you sure you wanna go? I know I would freak out…”

     

    And… Dana would probably tell Alice in seconds… and than there would be that Half-LA-knowing-about-this-problem again…

    1. Great job. I’m happy these two are making progress. I hope for the moment when they can be together, and hopefully Tina will get of Eric. I’m not trying to rush. It’s always good to take things slow. But hey if they made an effort to see one another, then they’ll make an effort to be together. Great job Ms. Lady. Nice post and keep them coming. I’m waiting
