There was a knock on the door.
“Come in”
James walked in carrying a bag from the planet.
“Here you go Bette, Kit sent you dinner”
“Thanks James with all that’s going on I forgot to eat lunch”
“I kinda figured so I had Kit, send this over”
“Tina, wanted me to make sure you ate”
“Tina called?”
“Yeah about 2 hours ago”
“Why didn’t I get her message?”
“Because she didn’t leave one, I guess she figured you were busy”
“James, I don’t care what I’m doing when she calls you make sure I’m notified ok?”
“Sure thing, Um..” James stammered, as he rubbed his neck
“What, is it James?”
“Bette It’s none of my business, but Tina she didn’t sound like her usual self”
“What do you mean?” Bette asked
“I don’t know she sounded….sad”
“What?”
“Bette I’m only mentioning it because when she calls she always sounds so good, you know happy and today well she wasn’t her usual happy self I just thought you should know, I like her and well I just thought you might want to call her” James said
“You like her?” Bette teased raising her brow
“Yeah, oh but not like the way you like her I just think she’s really nice and you could tell she really cares about you..”
“James, James” Bette cut him off
“I was just kidding, thanks for the info. I really appreciate you looking out for Tina, next time just let me know when she calls ok?” Bette chuckled
“Ok Bette, I’ll get out of your way so you can eat your food”
Bette sat down picked up her office phone and immediately dialed Tina’s cell phone it went straight to voicemail.
“Shit” Bette muttered
She then dialed her office phone
“Tina Kennard’s office”
“Hi, Lisa this is Bette is Tina available”
“No, Bette sorry, she’s left for the day already”
Bette looked at the clock 4:20pm
“Lisa, was she ok, she wasn’t sick or anything?”
“No, not that I know of, she did seem like she was a little down this morning then after her meeting she just decided to head home”

Bette is a hottie but WOW can she be a total moron!!!!!! Give yourself up Bette because life is too short.
This is not good. Bette needs to reach out to Tina and allow herself to love her. I hope that they are able to express their feelings to each other.

News flash, “TINA IS NOT JODI”. B&T are both tired, and they are letting their emotions control them. I understand Bette’s jealousy about Helena still wanting Tina, but Tina loves Bette and she wouldn’t jeopardize what they have. COMMUNICATION is the key here, ladies. Great post. PPVVVVVVS.
