“Hey Helena” Helena smiles sweetly “Hey honey” Alice kisses a stunned Dana. She sits down and looks between an edgy Helena and her silent wife “What’s up with you guys” Helena looks at Dana and Dana looks at Alice

“Alice you must swear that you’ll not tell Tina what I’m about to tell you” Unaware to the trio, Tina had been meeting an old friend for coffee and they had been sitting outside. Just as Tina was about to come back inside the Planet she saw her three friends sitting suspiciously. She had heard Dana say not to tell her something. She leans on the door and listens intently to the conversation

“OK I swear so what’s up” Dana takes a look around her before taking a deep breath

“Bette’s coming home” Tina can’t believe what she had just heard. The love of her life was coming home to LA “Her work is the centrepiece of the gallery opening we’re going to next week” Tina stumbles back nearly knocking another customer over. Seventeen years she had waited for Bette and now she didn’t have to wait any longer. Her baby was coming home

“So why don’t you want me to tell Tina” Tina knew she had to hear this part

“For all we know Bette could be seeing someone imagine what would happen if Tina found out Bette had forgotten about her and moved on?” Tina hadn’t contemplated whether Bette would have a girlfriend or, hell, even a wife. What if Helena was right? What if Bette had forgotten about her? Could she take the heartbreak?

“Bette would never forget about Tina, we all know that” the gang look at each other. Tina gulps hard and listens to the rest of the conversation

“Bette loved Tina more than she’s probably has ever loved anyone” Shane enters the Planet and walks over the girls just in time to hear the next question

“But does Bette still love Tina like Tina still loves her” Tina knew she went unnoticed by Shane

“Yeah she does, she told me when I phoned her” the gang and Tina look at Shane. Tina couldn’t believe Shane hadn’t told her that she had been in contact with Bette “She still loves Tina more than life itself, which is why we’re all going to keep this quiet from Tina Bette wants this to be a surprise” Tina smiles. Bette had changed that much if she still thinks she can surprise her

“Ok we promise” The gang simultaneously. Tina smiles loudly and exits through the back entrance of the Planet. The love of her life was coming home and what was more she still loved her after seventeen years. Tina knew she had to dress perfectly for the opening. Maybe one of her power suits or one of her sexy dresses; decisions, decisions.
