    Star Crossed Love…Chapter 3

The young tennis layer tried to protest "Maybe I should just have Harrison take me." stopping dead in her tracks and collapsing onto the couch she raised her head and stared into Gabe’s hazel eyes"I mean, what if you’re right. What if we do get into some horrible accident on the home." she asked with a freakish amount of nervous energy which was apparent when her voice cracked

"Babe, we are not going to get into an accident, my parents wouldnt ever forgive me, and i really dont feel like going home with you this year. That would mean i would have to apologize to your parents for lying to them about banging you while they were sleeping" The shaggy haired guy explained, pulling the brunette off the couch

Dana gasped "You did NOT!?!?!?!" covering her mouth with her hand and imediately standing upright

"Well….no." Gabe replied with a wry grin as he led Dana out the door "But, still. Just lighten up a little, Fairbanks." he finished, jogging down the sidewalk and tossing the bags into the back of the pickup truck

"You really should get this stupid door fixed, i dont see why you even drive this old beater." the athlete questioned grabbing the handle on the door, placing her foot just so beside the door and yanking a few hard times before finally managing to force it open.

Gabe just shrugged and shoved the key into the ingition "I’m not sure i could stand the thought of you actually becoming famous and me not being able to tell everyone that THE Dana Fairbanks bashed my door all to hell with her tennis raquet."

    "Fuck you."

"You know Alice.."Shane started, trailing off in her thoughts to watch the smoke swirl around "I didn’t think it was possible to absolutely not care if i had a roof over my head or not but, at this point i’m not sure we arent going to kill each other"

The messy blond silently scolded herself, even when she thought she could hide her feelings, Shane never stopped freaking her out "Good morning to you too." She plopped herself down in one of the folding chairs and pulled her knees into her chest with a sigh "I love you to death Shane and i think you’re right. Maybe, the whole move in thing was bad juju. We’ve only been able to successfully execute drinking, staying up late, and disregarding the noise regulations in the neighborhood." She looked at the brunette pointedly.

"Hey just because I am getting laid every night doesn’t mean you have to talk to me about noise regulations." Shane smirked and blew a smoke ring.

"Shane. I really don’t like seeing girls walk around half ass naked after knowing they just slept with you. It’s like looking at my naked sisters girlfriend. It’s just not right. Besides those bitches always leave the bathroom a mess. When they get shit out of the kitchen they leave dirty dishes in the living room." Alice crossed her arms leaning back in the chair.

"I can’t help it you are anal about cleanliness. I mean I knew you big on clean but, the tooth brush, gloves, face mask, and bleach to clean around the fixtures in the bathroom is a little to intense for me." Shane sighed. She got up and put her hand on the side of Alice face gently.

"Alice. I love you and trust you more then I have anyone in my whole life. But I don’t think this living together thing will work. I don’t want you to think it’s because I don’t want to be around you. We have so much fun together…"

Alice put her hand over Shane’s mouth. "I love you too Shane, I know you are right. We should finish out the month. I will put out an add."

"Oh Alice. I won’t leave you shafted. We can live together until you find someone to move in, Jenny offered me a room in her house a few days ago. But the offer wills stay open. I’m not going to be a bitch and leave you with all the bills."

Alice smiled and nodded. "Yeah." closing her eyes she forced herself to change the topic "I can’t wait til Bette and Tina’s party. There are always hot girls and guys there."

    "Alice….. MAKE UP YOUR MIND."

The sleepy eyed blond just rolled her eyes and pushed herself up from the chair stopping Shane before she could continue with her rant "I’m looking for the same qualities in a man, as i am in a woman. So fuck you, I’m getting some coffee."

    1. Will Dana be at the party? Will Alice make up her mind? Will Dana make it for her? What does Alice wear when she’s cleaning? Will you guys post soon? please? thanks you … you guys rock!

    2. This is about three steps past wonderful, AJ!! Which, coincidentally, is where the rainbow fairy unicorns live. Loved it! The interaction between Shane and Alice was so funny. They certainly made the most of their time together and I’m glad they both realized they need to live apart to keep their friendship and sanity. Not quite sure how much I helped, but, I am glad I did. Thanks, friend — you are amazingly awesome.
