A vampire and a witch walk into a beach party…

“Well fuck my mother! You are shitting me right?”

Tina tried to ignore her vulgar friend.  “Hey guys, hope we’re not too late.”

They all piped in at different times assuring Tina and her guest that they hadn’t missed much…yet.

“Guys, this is Bette Porter.  Bette this is Dana, Helena, Shane, and Alice.” Each came up and shook hands with the beautiful brunette, if only to get a close up look.  Dana was the only one to audibly gasp much to the amusement of all but Alice.  She continued to look out to the bonfire pretending no one was standing there and Tina should have left it at that.

But Tina was getting angry. “Alice, don’t be rude.”

As soon as she turned, Tina knew she should have said nothing.  “Rude?  How can you be rude to the dead Tina?  She’s a frickin zombie and now you’re what? Dating?  Really Tina, really?  Witches now date the unanimated.  I must have missed that in last month’s newsletter of current fads. You know I thought you were nuts when you took this job but now I’m convinced of it.  Hey, you know maybe you two could have your own reality show how about we call it My Date with a Bloodsucker. You are truly unbelievable.”  She now walked over turning her attention to Bette.  As brave as she had sounded with Tina she looked Bette in the eyes and her voice failed her at first.  The other girls stifled their laughter as Bette held her gaze. 

“You think you’re all high and mighty huh Miss, Miss Vampire. With you’re chiseled looks and your tight clothes.  You think you’re hot stuff don’t you?  Well you know what, I don’t care what you are, you hurt my friend and you are gonna be one sorry ass vampire.”  Alice turned to go and tripped over her own feet, falling face first into the sand.  The others moved to help her but stopped when Bette raised her hand.  The vampire went over to her and with the slightest effort picked Alice up under her arms like a toddler.  The blonde went limp in Bette’s arms.  Bette put her on her feet and looked her right in the eye.  “I admire true friendship Alice.  Tina is lucky to have you.”
