Soft Spoken Secrets (Gudang Garam) # 12
Previously
It was raining. Tina felt raindrops against her skin.
Raindrops falling against her back, waving her skin.
She felt her heart tied inside her chest.
She felt the lump in her throat.
It was no rain. There were no raindrops.
The silent salt drops belonged to Bette’s eyes. Bette was crying hopelessly.
*************************
Bette cried.
And cried.
And cried.
No words came from her sobbing chest.
The silence was broke only by her sobs.
The absence of words hurt Tina a little deep more.
Tina tried. She tried hard, but Bette wouldn’t let her got inside her walls again without the desire factor.
She denied Tina’s help. She denied her touches and her sweet words. The soundly moans of pleasure from minutes before got lost in the salt desert of tears.
Bette got dressed and stepped to the door.
**************************************
Yes, Tina tried, but Bette couldn’t let her touch her again.
Her heart was twisted. Her cells were still burning after the blond´s caresses, but her memory didn’t let the happiness of their reunion filled her soul.
Tina cried the minute Bette opened the door. “Bette…”
The minute Bette heard her sad moans, her legs wanted to stop but her mind didn’t approve the idea. Bette was a rational woman and she wouldn’t fail again, like she did before, more than 20 years ago, when she gave her heart and her rationality to Tina.
It was her mind who made her flew over the door, without listening Tina’s last words:
“We didn’t finish this yet, babe…”
*************************************
Bette had been stalked before. Her political positions made her hated by all kinds of fundamentalists: at art, at politics and also at the educational field.
Although the years, she developed her senses. Nonetheless, she couldn’t see anyone. She just felt it and she decided to wait. What else she could do?
********************************
Tina called daily. She didn’t show any kind of tiredness. The blond was doing what she had told Bette in a note. “I won’t give up.” Nonetheless, Tina couldn’t win Bette’s secretary or made her get her calls. But, after a week, with some luck Bette got her call when she confused the number on her cell phone.
“Please! Just don’t hang up…Please… Bette, just listen to me…” Her voice full of hope, but also with a certain dose of anxiety.

Braz I am in awe how you gave us another great chpater of these two women who hurt and love one another. I loved how TIna said she would not give up and I can’t wait for the next chapter!! Loved it
Another great one! PPS
That was great and like that Tina not give up on her woman and glad to see Bette give her a chance and now let whats gonna happen next, hope they will work thing out. Please post more, thanks!
Oh, Braz, you certainly left us speechless. When love is so profound and meaningful, there is never an end of it. People change, grow and may go on with their lives, but love will still be there, deep inside, when it is meant to be. If somehow B&T lost their way to each other in the past, this will be a right time to come back to terms with each other. They are mature now and both just need to find the right path to rejoin their lives. We are sure that Madison will be delighted to see her mom transforming into the woman who captured Bette’s heart in the past and see her mom’s genuine smile, after so long. Thanks for a brilliant update, dear friend. PPS Big Hs & Ks – Lucero & Marsha
Damn that had to suck for the nameless woman when Bette called out Tina’s name. lol
So Bette is calling out Tina’s name while with another woman. Can’t wait for the next post to come my way.
Their pain is so palpable and powerful! I am glad that Tina has talked to Madison and I hope this shows Bette how truly ready Tina is to try and find a way for them. However, I imagine that it won’t be an easy road after all the years of pain.
Heyyy… finally took the time to read this one :-) – I was tired, and I feered for this post to be “difficult”… well, it sure was, but less than “Caramel/Carmine”… Tina finally told her story to Madison… now, she needs to tell it to Bette too… at least, the nameless blond was nice and smart, and she sure gave Bette a good advice… now, will Bette be smart enough to listen to it, or will Madison have to be the go-between ? thanks Honey, XOXOXOXO
HEY BRAZ!!!!Tina told Madison about their past, that’s good!Glad to know Tina is not giving up on her woman! Great job Braz, also missed this story!!!PPS,mwahhh!
