    We learn about Pica-Boo, Dana sticks stir sticks in inappropriate places, Candy flies and the storm passes

    Carmen swung around, gently hushing the baby and bouncing her she was good with kids. Shane snapped out of her fantasy, slightly embarrassed, even though Carmen didnt know what she was thinking at least not all the time.

    Your amazing with her, Shane whispered, trying not to make Angelica cry again at the sound of another voice, but the baby just seemed to calm more. The threat of new tears now an old memory as her little body stopped shaking and she nestled against Carmens chest. Carmen smiled up at Shane.

    You should hold her, you two are just it takes my breath away when your together, Carmen whispered softly, not looking up to gage what she knew would be Shanes protesting face, instead she gently held the baby out, giving her no choice. Shane bit her lip and put her arms protectively around the little one. Her bangs falling forward even more as she stared down at her, eyes threatening to spill with something Carmen had never seen before.

    Her hand instinctively went protectively to Shanes shoulder as she bounced the newborn in her arms. Shane was again pulled out of her fantasy world as she felt the warm tingle of Carmens breath on her ear followed by her girlfriends soft lips. Carmen let out a soft laugh when she noticed the utterly uninhibited happiness all over Shanes face.

    They stayed like that for a long time. Not talking, just being. Sharing that one profound moment together, the three of them. In those moments life itself bound Angelica and her Aunties Shane and Carmen together for life. No matter what might become of the relationships individually between them, they would still remain connect together as one in three. It was raw and naked and beautiful and they all felt it, even the angelic newborn.

    Chapter 15

    Okay Im ready! Carmen said giggling. It was about 3 in the afternoon the next day. Shane and Carmen where sprawled on the carpet, they were prolonging the moment they knew would come, when theyd have to get ready and head to Bette and Tinas. There was a storm a brewing and the gang was heading to B and Ts before the power went out, it was to become a new tradition. Shane had rolled her eyes. One that would be very few and far between, storms where not a regular occurrence in LA, but she liked the sound of it anyway. The dark clouds outside made it seem as if it was a lot later then it was.
