Sharmen: I Gotta Go…Part18
I read all of her unsent letters with a scorching stare. She has no idea how she feels, she doesn’t truly love her, she doesn’t truly know love because she’s never loved me. She loves me, I know it, she knows it she’s just waiting until that nameless ***** finally backs off to give our relationship room to bloom. It’s so ***** soundproof my plan. It’s air tight and squeaky clean and by the end of it all I’ll have her, she’ll be mine. And that ***** ***** will be thrown out on the streets like yesterday’s news.
Chapter 46
It’s happening.
The girls bounced around Milk. Hoping they could spend a much needed night on the town without having a repeat of last weekends incident. Marina and Brandy were supposed to be leaving some time either this weekend or just after, they hadn’t been specific that day at the Planet.
Either way the girls were trying to have a good time without thinking about it.
Jenny was dancing with Moira when she felt a tap on the shoulder. She turned around and stopped everything immediately. Stopped moving, blinking- breathing.
“Hello Jenny.”
“H-Hi Marina,” Jenny said. For the first time since Marina had come back, for some reason, she didn’t feel like she needed to find the quickest escape. She just looked at her ex-lover curiously and stopped all thoughts from entering her brain.
“I would like to- um- talk to you, if you don’t mind,” Marina asked sheepishly and Jenny noticed that her shoulders where slumped horribly and she refused to look her in the eye.
“Yeah, sure,” Jenny said softly and touched Marina’s shoulder. Jenny didn’t seem to realize what she was doing, but Marina looked up finally with a look of- almost, fright- on her face.
The girls watched from afar, looking on in shock as Moira got a front row seat. At least Jenny remembered she was there.
“Hey babe, I’ll be right back,” Jenny said over her shoulder as she lead the tall brunette to the quiet beyond the front doors. There were still people mingling about outside- smoking, or talking and laughing- but it was way quieter.
When they were standing facing each other and a considerable amount of staring time had passed, Marina cleared her throat and spoke up. “Jenny, I’m here to say goodbye.”
