    Author Notes:

    Shane is surpised, Carmen reunites with old friends…Jenny is Jenny. Sloan is introduced

     

               Shane looking at jenny

     

           Carmen came back to the table with jenny’s shot.

        Carmen was giving jenny’s 10 back; Carmen got the drinks on the house.

    Jenny: (waving her hand to Carmen) No, you keep it.

     

        Carmen looked confused

    Carmen: Jenny, I got the drinks on the house.

    Jenny: wow, here you are you’re JUST a DJ. I write a fucking book and a movie, and I can’t even get one on the house.

     

         Shane was annoyed by what jenny did to Carmen.

     

    Carmen: (annoyed) Excuse me ladies, I am going to the rest room

     

              Within the next minute Shane got up

     

    Jenny: Where are you going Shane?

    Shane: What do I have to ask permission to use the bathroom?

     

    Alice: (looking at Tasha, Bette and Tina) Um, can we go dance?

     

              Everyone: yes, please

         By the time Shane was finished fighting with jenny, Carmen was on her way back. Given the only opportunity with her Shane might have lost it.

     

    Alice: hey Carmen, we are over here come dance.

             Carmen began dancing with Alice and Tasha.

     

    Sloan wasn’t too far from her.

     

             When the girls were done, they went back to the table, Sloan was still dancing. Carmen notice jenny following Shane everywhere she went. Carmen just laughed

     

    Alice: what are you laughing at?

    Carmen: (pointing) Shane and Jenny

     

            Looking through the crowd she notices Sloan with her friends.

    Carmen began to text Sloan with I am watching you, and how much you had to drink.

     

    Sloan: (looking at her phone smiling; texting her back) I had one shot one beer. I am here with Trisha and Missy. Where are you?

     

    Carmen: don’t worry but I can see you.

    Sloan: are you kidding me? (Looking around)

    Carmen: and that girl you are dancing with she is ugly

    Sloan: (looking at her blackberry) where the hell are you?

    Carmen: (smiling) don’t you want to know?

     

    Back at the table

              Carmen laughed because she could see Sloan looking all over the place

    Alice: what’s wrong?

    Carmen: Sloan is here

    Tasha: where?

    Carmen: over there dancing with that ugly girl, I think she brought her beer goggles tonight

Alice and Tasha are way cute. :) I liked Carmen’s reaction to Shane and Jenny: “I thought I and jenny were bad enough, but Shane and Jenny that was unbelievable.” Heh, yeah, Shane + Jenny = Disaster! Even Shane and Jenny know it’s a B.S. relationship. Wow, this Sloan is the perfect person. She has the job, the car, the look. . . the eye of a certain Carmen de la Pica Morales. *wink* But it seems like maybe Helena has Sloan’s eye? Okay, I’m off to read the third part. Again, thanks for posting. :)
