“God, I thought Alice would never leave! Tasha really has her hands full with her.”
“Yeah, I know. You know that she is going to be calling first thing in morning, if she doesn’t show up at the door.”
Bette turned in Tina’s arms and leaned against the sink. Tina stood between Bette’s legs and rested her hands on Bette’s hips. Bette placed a tender kiss on Tina’s lips.
“Will you stay tonight? Angie is already settled for the night, and neither of us has to work tomorrow.”
Tina tucked a stray curl behind Bette’s ear. “I’d love to. I know that we need to talk, but it’s been a long day, and it’s late. Can we go to sleep?”
“Sure. Why don’t you go ahead. I’m just going to lock up the house.”
“Okay, babe. You’ll be quick?”
“Of course.” Bette smiled as she watched Tina as she made her way to the bedroom. “She has the most amazing ass,” Bette mumbled to no one in particular as she made her way around the house checking the doors.
Bette walked into the bedroom as Tina stood facing the bed. As she started to remove her shirt, Bette stepped behind her. “Let me help you with that.” Bette took the hem of the shirt and pulled it up and off. Her hands trailed down Tina’s sides and gently cupped Tina’s breasts. She placed small kisses on the side of Tina’s neck and whispered “I think I remember something about washing your back tonight. Angie is sound asleep.”
Tina turned and looked into Bette’s eyes. The hesitation that she saw last night and this morning had disappeared. It was replaced by simmering lust. It was all Tina could do to remain standing when Bette looked at her like that. Tina kissed Bette with equal fervor to fire she had just seen in Bette’s eyes. When the need for oxygen took over, they reluctantly pulled apart. Bette continued to place kisses along Tina’s jaw, and nibble on that spot that made Tina forget everything else.
“Ah, only if I can wash your back too, babe.” Tina answered breathlessly as she started unbuttoning Bette’s shirt and pulled her to the bathroom. A trail of clothes lined the path to the bathroom as they kissed and touched each other on their way to the shower.

Somehow I missed chapter 3 but now I have caught up. I like your Kit better than the way they had Kit portrayed in the show. She was not too pleased with Bette and Tina hooking back up again in the show. I believe that Bette is willing to take that leap of faith now.
Great story QL…I like the direction much better than the one Ilene took…she must have missed a turn somewhere! Very well written!
Great update. Thankfully both Tina and Kit know Bette so well. Jump Bette, Tina will catch you. Lets just hope IC stays on track.
Those uncertainties seem to be going, for the moment anyway. Glad Bette’s taking the leap of faith. I hope their talk puts the rest of the fears to rest. Thanks for the chapter, QL.

Bette is going to take Kit’s advice and put her faith in Tina right? I love how crazy Alice is but Tasha may have to keep her busy so Bette and Tina don’t strangle her. Looking forward to reading more!
