Time. Space. If she heard her say those words any more she was going to hit her over the head with the phone and tell her to use it. Kit knew she had to find a way to get Tina to talk to Bette, whether she went to see her or called her, they needed to talk. They all had too many questions and the only ones with any answers weren’t talking to each other.
Kit placed her hand on Tina’s knee, Tina turned and looked back at her. ‘She needs you.’ Tina didn’t know how to reply. What did she expect her to say? Bette hadn’t come to see her when she knew where she was, she hadn’t even tried to call. She hadn’t made any attempt to get her back at all. ‘Does she even want me?’
‘You’re her wife. Of course she wants you.’ Tina got up from the table and started to pace backwards and forwards in front of Kit. She hadn’t gotten any of the answers she had come there for. Bette was being Bette. She didn’t know what that meant anymore. Bette needed her. Then why hadn’t she tried to get her to stay? Bette wanted her, of course she did. She was her wife. No answers, just more questions.
She stopped her pacing and looked at Kit, ‘Then why’d she do it Kit?’ Kit tilted her head to the side and shook her head, ‘That’s something you’re gonna have to ask her.’ She knew that would be Kit’s answer but she hoped that maybe she did know, maybe she knew Bette better than she did because she certainly didn’t know the answer. Oh God when did that happen? Tina asked herself. Before she was able to suggest an answer she heard Kit speak, ‘Why don’t you go and see her?’
The look of alarm at Kit’s suggestion couldn’t be ignored. ‘I can’t Kitit’s too soon. We, the last time I saw herwe’ Tina’s words trailed off. How did she explain what she and Bette had done? The way two people who supposedly loved one another had attacked each other. ‘I know what happened.’ Kit’s words brought Tina back from her thoughts. ‘Bette told me everything.’

that was a great chapter and I sure hope you post soon. our girls need to talk this out…we can handle the fights, the love, the anger..but not not them being away from each other…thank you much. albeez..you coming along soon…where the foof are you?
excellent update! you were sneaky there in the beginning making me think tina and bette were meeting. then you had tina waiting for her at the house. oh the suspense….i hope all their questions are answered. good luck with your papers.
Funniest thing: I actually have a high tolerance level for pain, so bring on the angst and heartbreak. Great chapter, a lovely addition to a wonderfully intriguing story.

Just caught up on this chapter and the last. Both were excellent chapters! You have a captivating story here. After reading the last chapter, I thought that the person Bette saw was Candace but was actually hopint that it would be Tina. At the beginning of this chapter, you had me thinking that it was Tina only to turn around and have Tina waiting for Bette at home at the end! Looking forward to the next chapter.
Damn this is drama and hope Bette tell Candace its over and when Bette go home she see Tina at home. Ok post soon please, thanks!
