Bette: I already did, I explained everything and asked her if she could stay with Angelica over night because I would be staying here, she said it was no problem.
Tina: Bette, you don’t have to stay, I’ll be fine. Besides you have work tomorrow.
Bette: No, I called out for the rest of today and I’m taking a few personal days off.
Tina: Aw Bette, that’s nice, but really you don’t—
Bette: But I want to. I would feel better being here with you.
Tina smiled, Bette smiled back. Tina scooted herself over to one side of the bed.
Tina: Will you lay with me?
Bette: Sure.
Bette removed her coat and placed it over her chair. She got up on the bed and leaned back. She wrapped her arms around Tina.
Bette: God, I’m so happy that you’re okay T.
What Bette had said but a smile on Tina’s face. They both closed their eyes, enjoying being close to one another. It wasn’t too long until they had fallen asleep.
Both women had stayed asleep until a nurse came in with Tina’s dinner. They both woke up.
Tina: How long were we asleep?
Bette looked at the time.
Bette: About two hours. Why don’t you eat something while I go and pick up a few things from your house and check on Angelica?
Tina: Okay.
Bette: Is there anything in particular you want?
Tina: No, just a change of clothes, give Angelica a kiss for me.
Bette: I will.
She leaned over and kissed Tina on her forehead. She got up off the bed and put her coat on.
Bette: I won’t be too long.
Tina: Okay, be careful.
Bette left the hospital and headed over to Tina’s apartment. She walked up the stairs and knocked on the door. Jane opened the door.
Jane: Hi, you must be Bette.
Bette: It’s nice to finally meet you.
Jane: Same here.
Bette walked in, she heard Angelica laughing the living room. She walked in and picked her up.

I really like this story and I look forward to reading more on them becoming closer, not only physically but emotionally.
Love this, now our girls just need to be brave enough to let each other know how they feel. Truthfully, I think Bette should take Angelica and Tina home with her. As for Henry, cops better get him before Bette and the gang do.
