Out of Closet (B&T time-travel romance), Ch. 28, Part 1
Chapter 28, Part 1: Le vent de l’autre nuit a jeté bas l’Amour (Morning after and another B&T conversation)
(Previously) Suddenly, Tina felt Bette’s body stiffened again when her hand slightly brushed over Bette’s hot center. Tina stopped her exploration of Bette’s body and searched her face for an explanation. Bette’s eyes were wide open and Tina immediately saw growing panic and uneasiness in them.
Tina moved closer to Bette’s face and tucked some unruly locks behind her ears. They both were breathing hard and Tina said softly, after taking a deep breath, “Bette, I’m so sorry. I was caught in the moment and I couldn’t stop myself. I know I promised to be patient and I will. I will wait forever for you to be ready.”
“No Tina, I’m sorry. I started the whole thing and I’m really sorry. I…can’t…I…please know that I really enjoyed this and I don’t regret any of it but I can’t overcome this fear that I have…the fear of…” Bette didn’t finish her thought. She couldn’t tell Tina about her fear, not yet.
Pulling Bette closer, Tina said into her neck, “Bette, baby, it’s okay. I’m scared too. Let’s take it one step at a time and see where this journey will take us.”
She felt Bette’s body relaxing and heard her exhale a deep breath, “Thanks, Tee.”
Tina chuckled softly, still amused at Bette’s new nickname for her and snuggled closer to Bette. They slept entangled in each other’s arms until the morning sun awakened them to a new day and a new adventure.

Place: Los Angeles, CA – Tina’s house
Year: Oct. 31, 2005 – Monday
Bette opened her eyes first when her sleep was disturbed by the bright sunshine. Her cheek was pressed against Tina’s shoulder and she immediately got nervous, remembering what happened last night. Sleeping with Tina, holding her really close, and feeling the soft and rhythmic movements of her chest had awakened unfamiliar but certainly enjoyable sensations and emotions in Bette.
Bette felt like in Tina’s arms nothing could harm her, nothing could upset her. Being in Tina’s arms felt like coming home.
But at the same time she was still confused about everything that happened yesterday. Things that she learned about her family and a very intimate, sexually charged evening with Tina shook her entire foundation. Bette badly wanted to tell Tina that never in her life she had felt anything so sensual and so intense as she had felt last night. But she couldn’t bring herself to open up completely. Not to Tina…not yet, anyway.

Love love love this story! B&T are amazingly cute! These dicoveries bette is making are wild I don’t know that I’d handle it as well as she has been. Can’t wait to see where you lead us next a always keep up the amazing work PPS
I continue to love your Bette–her honest emotions, her deep connection to the people and the world she left behind, her vulnerability and fragility, all accompanied by strength and bravery and openness to the new wold in which she has landed. I always eagerly await your next chapter, excited to see where we are going next.
Well, in one sense Bette does have Katie to herself all over again. It is interesting how well that Bette and Tina get along. They do make a perfect couple.
Yes…I have been waiting all week for this update. I can’t beieve how fast 4 pages go. You said you split it in 2, so I’m hoping we get another one some time this week. B&TF, fabulous update and I DO love this story.
