Anyone watching the foursome would think they’d known each other for years considering how comfortable they were with each other and how easily they fit.     Cole and Greg made a striking pair as they walked into the French restaurant to meet Bette and Tina for dinner. Anyone watching the foursome would think they’d known each other for years considering how comfortable they were with each other and how easily they fit. The resemblance between Bette and Greg was uncanny; they could easily pass for siblings. Bette and Cole spent most of the early part of the meal reminiscing about their college days. There was much laughter as Greg and Tina learned more about their respective spouses. The conversation then turned to more current topics and they found that they had many common interests.

    “So you know Peggy Peabody?”

    “We’re family. She’s like a mother to me and she’s our daughter’s adopted grandmother. She’s been such a blessing in my life. I love her dearly.”

    “What about her daughter Helena?”

    “We’re mortal enemies but Tina seems to have a soft spot for her. Why do you ask?”

    “I was just thinking about a project we tried to get funded a few years ago for the inner city program we were telling you about. We sent in a proposal for a Peabody grant and received some kind of form letter rejecting it. Helena was at the helm at the time and based on the generic response I got the impression she hadn’t even read it. We tried again the following year and got the same results even though we took a different approach. My business partner Dr. Emma Rothman met with Helena in person to present it. Helena told her that she would personally review the proposal but made sexual innuendos that gave Emma the impression that getting the funds was contingent on sleeping with her. I was just curious to get some insights on their approval process as we’re in desperate need of more funding for this program.”

    “Well I can guarantee you that Peggy doesn’t work that way. She’d taken a sabbatical a few years ago and left Helena in charge. I was working at the California Arts Center at the time and our funding was cut by Helena even though Peggy had supported the arts for years. Apparently Helena had her own personal agenda which went against everything that Peggy had instilled. The things Helena did really had nothing to do with how the foundation is run and as a result she’s no longer at the helm.”

    2. Three more years in New York, wise decision.

      It is really cool that they met Coleman and Greg. But reading Bette giving the best head is not what i needed to know, but i am glad to read they were so close and helped each other back then.

      Why do i have the feeling that Greg or Cole will be the donor for their next baby? I would love to see Bette pregnant with their second child.

Kept getting kicked out of site but i did read your stories and i for one am glad TINA was finally able to make a decision and go with BETTE to NY.Having another child is great and TINA going back to school is a wise choice.How will they bring up the subject of asking GREG to be their donor?which is a great idea and one i agree with.You are a very gifted writer and i have enjoyed your writings .thanks

    9. I agree with Bibi28. Though I was taken aback with Marcus. I suppose if Bette is goin to be the birth mother maybe Greg or Cole….money is on Cole be the donor.
