“Hello gorgeous. May I buy you a drink?”
Bette’s thoughts of her wife were rudely interrupted by the stranger who’d walked up behind her at the bar. Her usual retort for guys coming on to her was ‘fuck off asshole’ if they were persistent or ‘I’m not interested’ if they appeared harmless but the eerily familiar male voice stopped the immediate verbalization of any response. She turned slowly on the bar stool and faced the intruder.
“Coleman Alt?”
“Bette Porter … of all the places I thought I might run into you, a cruise ship in the middle of the Caribbean ocean would never have crossed my mind. How are you?”
“I couldn’t be better.”
“Well you look amazing. You haven’t changed a bit in twenty years.”
“Oh I promise you I have but thanks for saying it. You look pretty amazing yourself. It’s so good to see you Cole.”
Bette got up from the bar-stool and hugged her old college boyfriend. He really hadn’t changed much from when they’d dated during freshman year at Yale. Like her he was in his late thirties but he was one of those men that got more handsome with age and maturity. His blonde hair was trimmed neatly and appeared lighter than she remembered showing early signs of graying. He was clean shaven and wore stylish glasses which enhanced his hazel green eyes. He’d always been thin yet muscular. From the looks of his physique he’d kept up with the workouts. He was dressed casually in a light blue polo shirt, khaki shorts and sandals.
“So can I buy you that drink?”
“Sure. Why don’t we get a table? I was just waiting for my wife to join me for lunch.”
“Your wife?”
“Yes … Mrs. Christina Kennard-Porter. I just love saying that.”
“You must be newlyweds.”
“Yes we are. We officially tied the knot in New York City a couple of days ago. We had the most amazing wedding. Now we’re taking two weeks for the honeymoon.”
“Congratulations.”
“Thank you. So what are you doing here besides the obvious?”
“I’m here with my husband Greg Matthews. We’re celebrating our 10th year anniversary. What an amazing coincidence running into you like this. What it’s been like 15 years since we last saw each other and almost 20 since we dated?”

Wow! another update and I’m late on
reading, and I apologize Bat, I’m reading chapter 27.
Three more years in New York, wise decision.
It is really cool that they met Coleman and Greg. But reading Bette giving the best head is not what i needed to know, but i am glad to read they were so close and helped each other back then.
Why do i have the feeling that Greg or Cole will be the donor for their next baby? I would love to see Bette pregnant with their second child.

Kept getting kicked out of site but i did read your stories and i for one am glad TINA was finally able to make a decision and go with BETTE to NY.Having another child is great and TINA going back to school is a wise choice.How will they bring up the subject of asking GREG to be their donor?which is a great idea and one i agree with.You are a very gifted writer and i have enjoyed your writings .thanks

I agree with Bibi28. Though I was taken aback with Marcus. I suppose if Bette is goin to be the birth mother maybe Greg or Cole….money is on Cole be the donor.
