“And you feel the same about you and Bette being together ?”
“Heck yes – I have dated other women and none of those relationships worked like Bette and I. I want to be married to Bette again so we can get on with the rest of our lives in peace “
“So if things are good – and your dad and I were talking about the two of you and we agreed that the two of you looked very happy – why are you afraid of losing her?”
Tina sighed and paused while the waitress delivered their food. Tina tried to pull herself together – she needed to get a grip on her feelings. After a few minutes Tina looked at her mom
“When dad showed up and he and Bette talked and she got home that night. I knew there was something wrong – she was late and it was obvious that she was distant and anxious. She started explaining what had happened. I had got scared from the minute she walked into the apartment- I knew there was something wrong – I freaked – accused her of being unfaithful “ Tina rubbed the tears from her eyes again – she looked at her parents
“Bette would NEVER do anything to harm our relationship “
“So why did you accuse her of that ?”
“Because it happened before and its what split us up “
“Is it ? It sounded like you excused what happened when she was unfaithful”
Tina sighed “I now understand why it happened and that I played a part in it by falling for this myth that she was so super in control and she wasn’t – she is human like everyone else “
“So you hurt her with what you said “
“Yes – and its still there – she told me last night how much I hurt her “
“Do you really think you will lose her over it ?”
“No – because she idolises me and Angie. Bette says that everything she does – she does for her two girls. I want Bette to be with me because she loves me and I give her everything in a relationship that she needs – emotional and physical love. I get scared that maybe I am not good enough for her”

This is one of my favorite stories,I love the relationship that these two have developed over the last year, it is so beleivable. I am so ready to read how Angie will react to her new grandparents.
Hi AllyE, Thank you for another emotional rollercoaster of double chapters. It was so pleasing to have Tina beginning the healing process with her parents. Yes, it is a long and arduous journey but so worth the effort. I totally agree that Bette and Tina are doing the right thing re Angelica. Now isn’t the time for introductions to her grandparents.. Better to lay true foundations first and then build their relationship. Once home, Bette was the perfect girlfriend – letting Tina set the pace and reveal her fears and hopes for the future. Having Tina apologize for bringing up Candace was an adult action. Too much of their past involved keeping everything to themselves then letting it fester until it became impossible to mend. Better to get things out in the open and work through them. Yes, it isn’t always easy or a quick fix but it does get them sorted and back together. More please coz a hot and heavy love making session is the perfect relaxation aid. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
