Bette was playing with Tinas hair as Tina relaxed and settled into her favorite place on earth, Bettes warm embrace. They were just getting comfortable when Tina started giggling softly. Bette tilted her head and smiled down at her.

Nothing. You know Alice is probably on her way over right?

DING DONG

Right on cue.

Tina laughed as Bette huffed and got up to answer the door. She knew it was going to be Alice so she played it up as much as possible. She threw the door open and glared at the person standing there.

WHAT?

Dana stood there looking terrified of Bettes grumpy demeanor and she almost turned on her heel immediately and left. She tried to smile at Bette and apologize for apparently interrupting some sleep or worse, some quality time. Dana stood there shifting her weight uncomfortably from one foot to the other.

It took Bette a few nanoseconds to realize she had snapped at the wrong person and her eyes got wide in apology. She gave Dana a sweet smile and pulled her into the house.

No its okay DanaIm sorry I thought you were Alice. Whats up?

Dana just smiled sheepishly at Bette and tried to figure out how to explain why she was there. Bette took one look at her and started laughing.

Alice sent you didnt she?

Alice sent you because she knew I wouldnt be angry with you like I would with her. Well you can tell Alice everything is okay

Dana just smiled again and shook her head as she plopped herself down on the couch.

Yeahwell Alice just called me and told me I needed to get over hereshe didnt really say why

Just then Tina came out of the bedroom to see what was keeping Bette so long. She had assumed it was Alice and that Bette had kicked her out ASAP and she wanted to go back to snuggling. She yawned as she made her way to the living room and she was surprised to see Dana sitting on sofa instead of Alice. She gave Dana a big smile and hug.
