Porter is that you? You have a lot of explaining to do. Why havent we seen you and Tina in over a month?

Bette just smiled half annoyed, half irritated, and half touched that Alice was bugging her about her whereabouts for the past couple of weeks. Given the way that her and Tina had been fighting this last month it was obvious to say the least that they hadnt been doing much socializing with the rest of the group. Mimi and Ivy had made a few inquires to Bette to make sure everything was okay, but for Alice to make such a fuss Bette knew their friends really cared. She sat down next to Tina on the bed and held the phone so that Tina could hear as well.

What do you mean Alice? You guys were just over here for the housewarming party, and you and Tina had drinks last week.

Save the ***** Porter. Either you guys are ***** each others brains out, which in that case come up for air once in a while, or something is wrong and you guys need to chill and spend some time with your friends.

Tina put her hand over her mouth to stifle her laugh. Sometimes Alice could just be too much and right now was one of those times. She rolled her eyes at Bette who rolled her eyes back and chuckled softly into the phone.

What are you laughing at Bette? Im seriouswhat is going on over there?

Dont worry Aliceits nothing we cant handle. But thanks for your concern, really. Gotta gobye.

Bette hung up the phone with Alice still sputtering on her end and Bette heard a few nasty words before she managed to hang up. Tina laughed and snuggled into Bette who wrapped her arms around Tina and snuggled back into bed. Things between them had gotten a lot better since the fight and they realized how much pressure they were putting on each other and how this pressure was slowly leading to them holding grudges against one another. They decided to take things one day at a time and this has worked wonders for their relationship. They seemed much more at ease with one another and the love between these two has never been stronger.
