    Chapter 4

    “Absolutely positive”

    “You want me to come over dressed exactly as I am now”

    “Ok I’m sensing I am going to regret that suggestion…..what are you wearing”

    “Nothing…well not exactly nothing I am wearing underwear”

    Bette knew asking Tina to elaborate was asking for trouble however her desire to complete the mental image more accurately took control of her verbalisations.

    “Which ones”

    “Not sure if you will remember it has been a while…..the black set that you said I looked far too good in to take off so you would push the fabric to the side before you….”

    “I have to go”  Bette hung up

    “Now who’s freaking out”  Tina’s laughter felt satisfying if short lived as she perused over the discarded clothes before her “What the fuck am I going to wear”

    “ALICE…..”  Bette shouted from her bedroom.  “Come here”

    “What now woman”  Alice muttered as she once again obeyed Bette’s command.  “I don’t believe it….you’ve got changed again….”  

    “Is this better” Bette asked hopefully

    “Better than the last one or better than the previous twenty”  Alice said totally exasperated.  She wandered over to the window where she saw Tina pull up.  “Looks like you’ll have to stick with what you have on now….the reason you are looking so hot….and bothered has just arrived”

    “Fuck….Tina’s here….fuck….Alice please tell me she’s fully clothed”

    “Oh Porter you are in so much trouble if your already imagining her naked”  Alice sniggered.  

    “Alice I am not imagining Tina naked” Bette said annoyed at how close Alice had come to the truth  she had desperately tried to rid her thoughts of Tina in her underwear since she had rudely ended their conversation.  What is she wearing….I’m only asking to ascertain if I’m over or under dressed”

    “No idea she hasn’t got out the car yet…..”  Alice replied.

    Bette walked towards the window but hung back when she could see Tina’s car, she didn’t want Tina to catch her watching her.

     “Your still in love with her” Alice stated when she turned and caught the look of pure anguish on Bette’s face.

    “I don’t know what to do Al”  The weight on Bette’s shoulders forced her to sit on the edge of the bed.

    “Porter…Porter…Porter….” Alice sat down next to Bette “ Look I know the whole Professor whatever the fuck her name was and her kid did a number on you but you either have to let it go or let Tina go”

    2. Hahaha who am I trying to kid! There’s no need of convincing me dear skimmer. The truth is I’m a hopeless romantic so I totally see bette opening her heart and changing for tina and their lives happily ever after! Great update can’t wait to hear about this professor and child

    4. Okay, one of them will have to give in before they die of exasperation and/or exhaustion. Bette should just take it on the chin, give in and tell Tina she has changed her mind about children. They love each other beyond imagination the rest will work itself out. They must talk and admit their undying love. Wonderfully funny update. Thanks for posting.

    6. And the truth shall set them free… Bette should probably like, tell Tina about her past. Professor Heartbreaker, Spawn of Heartbreaker, the lot.
