She looked back at Tina and smiled.
‘I missed you…’
‘I missed you too…’ Tina agreed. ‘I should get back to the others.’
‘Yea, I have a meeting in like 10 minutes. Maybe I’ll speak to you tonight..?’
‘Yea, give me a call when you get in’ Tina smiled.
Bette nodded. ‘I’ll do that. Have a good afternoon. And please, try not to worry…’
‘Easier said than done. I’ll try though.’
‘Bye babe…’
‘Bye..’ Tina replied, retreating to the gym doors.

‘Hey Jenn, it’s me…’
‘Sophie, hey, how’s it going?’
‘Well, things are definitely picking up now!’
‘Is that so?’ Jenny asked, an evil smile playing at her lips.
‘Uh huh. I got that picture you wanted!’
Jenny punched the air and started to dance around the ladies rest room.
‘Sophie, you are the best cousin a girl could ask for!’
‘Don’t I know it!’ Sophie laughed. ‘But hey, how did you know something was going on between Tina and our teacher?’
‘Well Soph, that’s just something you’re gonna have to wait and see…’
‘Ok…are you sure I can’t use it in the school paper? Everyone will freak out big style when they find out Ms Porter’s giving it to a student..’
‘I’m sure they would Soph, but what I have planned is far more….juicy’ she grinned.
‘I’ll trust you then. Soon as I hang up I’ll send the photo. This is just too good. Sure to knock both of them from their precious basketball team!’
‘It’s going to do a lot more than that’ Jenny promised.
‘Speak to you soon hun, kisses…’
‘Mwahhh!’
As Jenny hung up the phone, she looked at herself in the mirror.
‘You my dear have just found your exclusive!’
Laughing to herself she exited the toilets.

Later that night Tina was sat at home drawing up some ideas. She knew she had to act fast. Helena had come around and had only just left. She came to offer idea’s for a story, knowing how stressed Tina was. The Bette story was completely out of the question, so the next best thing would be an inside view of the first Annual Womans Basketball Tournament, form the inside. Though she had a bit wrote up on her experience so far, as well as a few photo’s from Helena, she couldn’t help but think this wouldn’t make a quarter of the backpage, let alone a front cover exclusive.

I can see Jenny pulling this shit, but Max? WTF????? They should’ve just stopped this Mickey Mouse shit before it got out of hand. It’s not that fucking hard to figure out. Actually, if I was Tina, I would’ve just quit as soon as Max made it clear he wanted the Bette story.
I had the strangest feeling that he was not really a friend after all to Tina. I knew that snake would do the story but I always thought that he would physically do the story not someone else. Get them back together hurry..Please, Pretty Please *on my knees begging*
Hey, I have been loving this story! it is great. I am not opposed to having the chapter in 2 sections if it means that we get another update soon ;) Anyways, I hope that everything can work out for Bette and Tina and I hope Tina’s story kicks jenny’s ass!!

Please tell me that Tina had the presents of mind to wear the necklace camera and film every word. She can get back at Max and Jenny at the same time and maybe be promoted to his job in the process. They both sooo deserve what ever happens to them.

Ahem, YOU DON’T MESS WITH TINA KENNARD WHEN SHE IS PISSED. I hope that Jenny pays for her actions when the truth comes out. Poor Bette, she did nothing wrong but is getting the raw end of the deal. I hope that Tina can get Bette to understand that it was not her but Jenny. I knew I hated Jenny but I definitely HATE her more now.

Ten pages and I’m still looking for more. What a great chapter! I have no doubt that you will allow karma to bite Max and Jenny in their asses… Hate to hear that the story is coming to an end, but have certainly enjoyed every word!
Tina needs to get to Bette, not that she’s going to listen to her right now.Alice needs to not jump to conclusions. Jenny, I can’t even write what I would do to her.

How can anyone play with someone’s life like that just for a sake of some cheap paper, as Max and Jenny did to Bette, who had caused them no harm in anyway! Ouch. No way in hell I’d stay with that job with people fucking me over like that… I’d sell the real story to their biggest competitor. Then everyone involved in the fabricating would get fucked. Well, of course I’m only saying this because no matter wat happens I know there will be a happy ending ( or at least, I hope so… You wouldn’t have set us up, right ? That would be so mean of you. And indeed, I think you have no right to deprive us of your tremendous talent, therefore you MUST continue this story ( LOL ! Jeezz…. instead of writing the story to her supposedly company, she should just sell the story to another publisher so that Max won’t get a dime or credit over it.. I’m pissed to see how people could utterly destroy someone’s life just to save their own selfish small benefit. Sigh… hopefully since fate brought B&T together… it would be reuniting them too? ;) I love the chapter… how it brought me through emotional roller coaster ride. And really hoping that you wont’ be ending this story so soon :(
Sure tina can sue or Bette can, but at the end of the day you said it yourself. This false story will follow her for life, she will never ever be truly believed again. Tina should have stopped long before this happened, at the first moment that she realized that Bette was not the predator that a few teachers can be. I can’t see Bette every really trusting Tina again.

You said I’d be angry after this post.. Understatement or what?! As if I didn’t hate Jenny enough! And Max.. What the hell was he thinkning? You never abandon your friend’s best interests like that! Slimeball! Grr. B&T were so cute beforehand! I hope you discover a way to continue this beyond next week.. I love this story and it’s a shame to see it end. However, if that’s what you want, then so be it :) Ideas for continuing: Getting them back together, getting Jenny/Max back.. I don’t think they can legally put her name on that document.. And it’s slander against Bette because she KNEW.. Sue them! Tina / Bette / Kate can testify that Tina told her at the hotel! You could have the story extend to clearing Bette’s reputation, the outcome of the basketball tournament, Tina’s job, the firing of Jenny and Max for misconduct.. erm, how the couple progress from their misunderstanding, etc? I don’t intend to beg this week for an earlier post because that would merely bring the end closer :( But do what you wish regarding the split post.. it’s your story :) And I look forward to your future stories after this.
