Eric Cassie was a successful Entertainment Lawyer along with being an esteemed art collector. His life was going as planned; perfectly. His job was secure and rising, he and his longtime girlfriend Tina Kennard were engaged to be married, and he had just purchased a new piece of art to add to his collection from the Bette Porter Gallery. Soon he thought my life will be complete. Me and Tina will be married and will have started our perfect family; mom, dad, 2.5 kids, a dog, and yes, even the little white picket fence! He couldn’t be happier. 

Sitting at his desk, Eric was thinking back to last weekend when he and Tina had gone to the Bette Porter Gallery and purchased the Catherine Opie piece. The night had gone swimmingly. He had gotten approval to blow u p the print he wanted to 5 by 6 feet and had been invited to Bettes famous artist dinner. He had been elated! However, after him and Tina returned to the car, Tina claimed to have left her earring at the gallery. Eric didn’t think it was that big of a deal yet, Tina had claimed they were her great grandmothers and were very important to her. So Eric had called Bette and set up a time for Tina to come by and pick up the earring. 

The phone ringing jolted Eric back from his thoughts. However since it was late he decided to let it go to voicemail. He began to stand and gather his things. Looking at his watch he saw that it was about 1:30 am. He felt somewhat hungry however; he knew Tina would be waiting up for him so he decided to just go home early. 

Upon opening the front door to his and Tina’s apartment, Eric heard a strange noise. He sat he things down and became very still to try and listen. Eric then knew what he was hearing: moaning. 

Eric: under his breathe, "For real somebody I’m fixing to kill somebody!"

He walked closer, he heard groaning. 

He bust through the door and there in HIS bed were Tina and Bette Porter!

That’s when Eric Cassie knew that: His girl had a girlfriend…
