Alice – So you don’t want me to go….
Dana – I just won’t have the time to spend with you.
Alice – I don’t think you should go alone.
Dana – Why? I go alone to places all the time.
Alice – I just don’t think you should go alone this time.
Dana – You’re confusing me, babe. What’s so special about this time?
Alice hesitates.
Alice – Because you just got hurt and I’d feel better if I knew that your head was ok.
Dana – I didn’t bump my head… all I got was this cut on my face. But if it makes you feel better, I’ll re-book my flight and leave tomorrow.
Alice – I wish you didn’t have to go at all.
Dana – Well I do.
Alice – I’ll call into work early and see if I can’t knock off work for a couple days.
Dana – You seem pretty determined to go with me, but it’s not going to happen this time.
Alice – Why not?
Dana – I told you how busy I was going to be.
Alice – It doesn’t matter… I just want to be with you. I won’t get in the way.
Dana – You would never be in the way, Al. I just have so much to do in such a short amount of time… if anything you’d be too much of a distraction.
Alice – I’d only demand your attention at night….
Dana – And I wouldn’t get any sleep.
Alice – I haven’t heard you complaining about it so far.
Dana – You’re still not going.
Alice kept trying to convince Dana to take her along, but she continued to shoot her down. She didn’t want her to go and wasn’t sure that her reasons sounded on the level. All Alice knew was that she didn’t want Dana to go alone, not after the threats Tony made. She didn’t feel comfortable telling Dana about her paranoid suspicions. Tony didn’t say that anything was going to happen, just the implication was enough to terrify her. He was never going to stop terrorizing her until she found something out.
Dana felt that Alice was pushing too hard to go with her. Under different circumstances, she would be begging her to take the time off and come with her. Dana couldn’t deal with the tension that would be caused by her investigation. She couldn’t bear to think of what Alice might have to say. Alice would probably say that she was going on a witch hunt and that her past had no bearing on what was going on between them. Roxy was hiding something and it damn well was effecting the way she lived her life… not to mention the lives around her. There had to be some skeletons in her closet.

What are you up to you sick bastard? I can’t say I’m digging the lack of trust or communication exhibited in this chapter. I’m sure you have something up you’re sleeve & you’ll reveal it when you damn well please. Over all I liked the chapter, although the lack of sex is a bit unforgiveable.

Thischapter raises so many questions. Would love to know what’s held in these “mysterious” barrels. Who was at Dana’s hotel room? And who wanted to kill Dana?Maybe a mob member? I know you won’t answer these questions right away…but I can at least try, can’t I? I’m glad, Andrea saved Hottie. I knew it was right of me to love her, lol. Must be my female intuition that functions at times like these, lol. Do I smell another fight when it comes to Sara and Roxy? Hope David won’t hypnotize his sister to get rid of Foxy, lol. I’m sure, he’ll attend it to himself. Too much pleasure…more than he had with animals. What a fucking lunatic. Dana made the right decision by going alone to Chicago. I fear she might be having second thoughts when it comes to her relationship with Alice. They definitely need to fix their trust issues. I’mconfident they’re going to make the bestout of it…even with Roxy on their minds…albeit with completely oppositefeelings. As for the tape…no idea if it’s smart of Al to hand it over to Foxy. She promised not to watch it…will she stick to it? I doubt it…I highly doubt it to say the least. You think you know my favorite number? Hmmmm…I’d say…if you guess right I’ll get you some candys, LOL. Not satisfied with it? Maybe you’ve got something on your mind? I was so excited to read this chapter (even without the steamy sex!) Hope Dana finds a way to make it up to Alice. Although going alone was a very good idea… Love your story looking forward to the next one!
Oh Alice and Dana!! What am I gonna do with you two? They have to start communicating better or I’m gonna strangle them both. Who is this Andrea chic? Whoever she is she needs to keep away from Dana because she belongs with Alice and that is that!!!
Interesting twist in the end, I wonder what kind of help Andera is going to give Roxy and how did she know where Dana would be? I am also glad that the clock reappeared since I have been waiting for that mystery to be solved. You do make a good point that Dana doesn’t know that it was Alice, not Roxy that started things with Roxy, it would devastated Dana to find out especially from someone other than Alice, but I wonder can Dana ever forgive Alice without knowing the whole truth, not just about that night but the other times that Alice almost fvcked Roxy.
super awesome chapter as always. took me almost 24 hours to read the whole thing because i kept getting interupted by life. i hope your next chapter comes soon because this one was too much of a cliffhanger. noises outside of windows, mysterious phone calls, late night people at hotel doors, and andrea following dana. crazy stuff. please post soon so we can all know what the heck happens. oh and it wouldn’t be a post if i didn’t say … i hate roxy!
