    Bette & Tina tell the girls the story. Will Alice behave?

    Oh, thanks so much. Dont worry about my friend there, nodding her head towards Alice, she has a slight impulse control problem. Alice stuck her tongue out at Bette.

    Stick that thing back in your mouth, Al. No one here is interested. The look that passed between Alice and Dana did not go unnoticed by Bette.

    Kit had already called one of the wait people over and put in an order of food for the table. She told them to make it as quickly as they could – there was a very pregnant lady here who needed food.

    Bette took the sonogram picture out of its envelope and stood up. Well, the first person to see her niece is Aunt Kit. Bette walked over to Kit and handed her the picture. Everyone watched Kit as she took the picture from Bette. She held it in one hand, her other hand went to her mouth. She looked up at Bette with love in her eyes and back down at the picture. Oh, baby sis, shes beautiful, so beautiful. Tears began to tumble down her cheeks. She reached out and touched Bette on the arm. Bette was beaming. If the power in the city of West Hollywood went out right now, that smile would light up the whole town. Thats our kid! All the girls got up and gathered around Kit to look at the picture. Tina had returned from the restroom and saw them all standing and looking over Kits shoulders. She walked around and took Bettes hand, looked up and her and smiled. Anyone standing back and watching would have seen the perfect Kodak moment

    The girls returned to their seats. The food had arrived while they were looking at the sonogram picture, so they all just ate their dinner and then waited for Bette and Tina to continue their story.

    So what happened when Peggy Peabody got to the apartment? asked Carmen.

    Yeah, did she go berserk on Helena? Jenny asked.

    Well, Bette said, first, Peggy Peabody does not go berserk, at least not in the same way we do, glancing at Alice, and two, I didnt hear what she said to Helena because I left the room and closed the door.

      “creepfuckass Hellacious Peabody.”–fuckin classic!I KNOW quite a couple of people that would do a major cheer for that expression!*LOL*

      I had to go and look up fissure in the online dictionary..:”and the fissure’s sides came together and the separation of two became one, once again. “….lovely line.
      This story just keeps bein an excellent VERY entertaining and witty piece of writing….with style!! NICE! :-)

    11. Oh Alice, you of all people should know Bette well enough to know a little thing like a cast is only going to slow her down but she easily adapts and can overcome anything to be with her T.
