Bette and Tina were lying Tina’s bed the morning of her departure to USC.

“We will see each other when our prospective teams play each other in a couple of months.”  Bette said.

“Yeah I know but I’ll be forced to see you as the enemy on the court as I kick your ass.”  Tina said smiling.  She knows she is goading Bette, who is conceited about her athletic skills.

“Oh my sweet, sweet Tina Kennard.  You are so cute when you are trying to psych me out.  Don’t worry babe, you’ll win one of these days.”

“You know some might say that a good girlfriend might let her win to boost her confidence.”

“What type of girl would I be if I gave you false hope babe.  At least when you do beat me you’ll know it is legit.  If you work hard and let your game develop, you will beat me.  I believe in you babe.”

“Thanks babe.  That means a lot to me.  You mean a lot to me.”  Tina said as she moved her hips against Bette’s.

“Do we have for a quickie?” Bette asked while grabbing Tina’s ass.

Tina looked at the clock on her desk.  It read 9:20 am.  Her parents are taking her to eat at one of her favorite places and they plan to be on the road by noon. Bette and Tina will ride in Bette’s car and follow her parents to USC. Bette doesn’t mind since she doesn’t leave for school until the following weekend.  This is a chance for her to steal some more time with Tina. 

“Maybe.  We have to hurry because my mom will be…”

“Tina?”  Katherine interrupted her daughter’s statement.  by tapping lightly on the door.

“Yes mom?” Tina answered.

“Be ready by 10 to leave for breakfast ok honey?”

“Yes mom.” Tina answered.

Tina listened for her mom to leave from her door before whispering to Bette. “That gives us about 20 minutes before I have to shower and change.”

“That’s plenty of time.”

“You sure you don’t want to eat with us.  They have already said it’s fine if you want to join us.” Tina asked.

“No babe. I’m going to eat you for breakfast, then I’ll go home and have a smoothie.”  Bette said while tickling a giggling Tina.
