    More of Bette and Karen’s relationship is revealed

    From: Bette
    To: Desi

    She’s very cute but I don’t think so

    “I am so going to hell!”

    Desi thought about that.  ‘She is such a beautiful liar’.

     

     

     

    After the party

    Bette and Karen made their way to Bette’s room around 1am.  All of their friends had left.  Bette’s head was spinning slightly.  She had mentioned Tina enough for Karen to figure that Bette’s new crush was their new team mate. 

    She had never seen Bette look at anyone the way she looks at Tina.
    “Oh boy, you are a gonna BP.” Karen said as she closed Bette’s bedroom door.

    “What did you say, Kar?”

    “Nothing, B.   Would you like some water?”
     “No Kar Bear, Just lie down and relax.”  Karen did what she was told.

    “You are going to have a hell of a headache in the morning if you don’t drink at least one bottle of water Porter.”

    “Ok mom. Can you get me a bottle of water please?”

    “Bette I am far from your mom so stop being a brat.”  She laughed as she got up to get a bottle from the kitchen.  When she came back into the room she saw Bette dozing off.  She looked so peaceful.

    “Hey Bette.  Wake up and drink this.”

    After Bette drank about half the bottle she looked up at her friend.

    “Hey Kar.”

    “Yes Bette.”

    “Why do you care so much about me?  I mean I was not exactly the best girlfriend a girl could want.”

    Karen could see Bette was really going through her own inner turmoil.

    “Bette you were a good girlfriend. More importantly, you have been a great friend. I know you have my back and I am glad we have remained good friends.  You have just always had a weakness for a beautiful woman. Look, you are a great catch and one day you will meet the one you are supposed to be with and she will be the luckiest girl to have you.”  Karen stared in Bette’s eyes and saw a glimmer of hope.

    “You really think there is someone right for me, Karen?”

    “Yes I do Bette.” What Karen knew about her friend is that she really was very kind to all of her ex-girlfriends.  Bette was very generous to all of her friends and if she cared about you she was fiercely loyal.  She just couldn’t shake the heart breaker label.  Bette was so damned irresistible.

    2. Yeah I’m with wkm here. I don’t know who’s who?…..But for me .. [as much as i loved. Bette.] Bette is not just a heart breaker?.. and selfish..She is a stupid Fool..

    3. Totally routing for Bette and Tina, but loving the FWB relationship w/ “Karbear”. If Karen is smart (and I think she is) she knows that this is a short time fling for Bette until she can the blonde she really wants out if her head and into her bed. Great update, post soon, PLEASE!

    6. Hi ayesha23, I have just caught up with this great story and had to comment on how much I am loving it. Bette and Tina really are star-crossed in it. I do hope that Desi and Karen help them find each other as their fear is stopping them from taking a chance and telling the other exactly how they feel. Desi was a good friend to both gals as she tried to find out more info from Bette about her intentions with Tina. Karen knows that Bette’s heart belongs to another I just don’t know if she realizes that it is Tina. I hope that Bette calls out Tina’s name in the throes of passion and lets Karen know exactly who Bette wants. I just want to get Bette and Tina together. Oh and Eric was a complete dick!!! Tina better get rid ASAP. More please and many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.

    9. It would seem Karen wants Bette to forget all about Tina Kennard and is using her best moves to do so. Bette is selfish at the same time she is hurting, and lives upto her name the heartbreaker whether she wants to admit it properly to herself or not. As for Tina she has got to work on her own feelings before jumping into bed with either Porter or her also loser bf. Right now she just needs to be by herself… I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.
