    Bette knew Tina was just putting up a front so that she didn’t feel bad about going out.

    “Look, it’s no big deal T.  I don’t have to go.”

    “No Bette.  I will not be that girl.  Please don’t make me the girl who gets all clingy and needy.  Bette go.  Have fun. Just not too much fun. Call me tomorrow.”

    “You sure baby, cuz it’s really not that serious to me.”

    “Baby just go out with your team mates.  The bonding will be good for you guys.”

    “Ok.  I love you baby.  I’ll call you tomorrow.”

    “I love you too, B.”

    “Goodnight sweetness.  Dream of me.”

    “I will.”  Tina said as she ended the call.  She felt a little weird about Bette going out with her friends but she tried not to let her mind run wild with images of Bette grinding with other sweaty co-eds.

    The Playhouse:

    “Hey look who it is!”

    “Hey Bette.”  Said Katrina eyeing the brunette like she was piece of meat being offered to her on a platter.

    Bette is used to Katrina’s ogling and she has learned not to appear effected by it in the least.

    “Hey roomie, you made it out!”  said Erica making her way over to Bette.

    “I told you I was coming, didn’t I?”  Bette answered.

    “Yeah, I know but you usually change your mind after speaking to the wife.” Erica said earning a light slap on the shoulder.

    “Zip it Erica.”  Bette said looking briefly in Katrina’s direction.

    “Oh the little woman let you out tonight, Bette?”  Katrina said smirking at the annoyed brunette.

    “Tina and I have a trusting relationship, Trina.  She doesn’t need to let me do anything!”  Bette yelled over the music.

    “Fine, whatever you say Bette.  Don’t take my head off.” Katrina smiled, thinking maybe she is finally wearing the freshman down.

    Bette leaves to go toward the bar.  She needed a nice stiff drink.

    “Would you give it up Katrina?!  The girl obviously does not want you.  Besides, don’t you have a girlfriend anyways?”  Erica asked.

    “Erica, please.  Don’t you think I know what you’re doing?”

    “What am I doing Katrina?”

    “You are just trying to get into Bette’s pants yourself.”  Katrina said.

    “Are you kidding me?  Bette is a one woman girl, Trina.  Let it go already.”

    3. What’s most important, Bette? Some cheap meaningless fuck to feed your ego… Or… To be someone who is trusting, honest and has some integrity and takes her words to her girlfriend seriously? You have to decide and take the consequences along with your decision. You can never go back once you cross that line.

    4. I agree with you talaula. We get blamed for so much by others not wanting to see their own truth in the mirror. I know that Bette as been quite sexually active in trying to find the right one for herself. Now that she had Tina in her life, she should try and be good for her. Its so easy to fall into the pit of promiscuity but for Tina’s sake I hope that she doesn’t as the potential is there for a good relationship. But they are both so young and have life ahead of them. I guess we shall see where the story goes.

    5. My goodness, how many times does a person have to say no, before she is believed. But then again, if it is not said with conviction, all bets are off, and I have feeling, that Bette’s phone and pitcure taking is going to come back and bite her in the butt, so to speak, when somebody takes a picture of her with another girl and send it to Tina. Drama rama ahead for the girls.

    7. Bumsue, you’re giving Bette too much credit. She has no integrity. She’s already fallen. I’ve seen this scene unfold many times, mostly by those breeding bigots who want to deny us marital equality. They break their vows all the time, and claim that gay promiscuity defies the sacred union between a man and woman. You may join their ranks Bette. Thanks for the post 👍
