    Finale Part II

    "Mom who are you calling?" Teddy asked.

    "Jess. She promised we could spend Christmas in Spain with her." Bette said.

    "Mom maybe you should wait to tell Mama first." Teddy said. Bette closed the phone.

    "Maybe you’re right. Besides I want to get to know Lindsey. I have arranged for lunch at the Planet." Bette said.

    "I don’t think so. Lindsey does not deserve to be thrown to sharks today." Teddy said.

    "It’s okay Teddy. Really. I think you have prepared me well for the meeting of your Aunts." Lindsey said.

    "Great come on let’s go." Bette said.

    "I don’t think you can ever get prepared for them. Especially Aunt Alice." Teddy said to himself as he followed Lindsey and Bette out of the airport.

    Bette and Tina’s

    Bette had just finished drying her hair and was standing in front of the mirror pulling it up when Angie walked in the front door.

    "Angie, is that you?" Bette asked.

    "Yeah Mom it’s me." She said.

    "Mama put your outfit she picked up in your room." Bette said Angie stood in the doorway.

    "Cool. I’ll just go get in the shower. Aunt Al said we need to be there at 7." Angelica said.

    Bette looked at her.

    "Did you cut school again today to go surfing?" She said.

    "I plead the fifth." Angelica said.

    "No more until after the break." Bette said. She learned that it was better to just let it go. As long as Angelica kept her grades up and stayed out of trouble then she was okay.

    "But Mom. I…." Angie argued. Tina walked out of the bathroom releasing steam into the hallway.

    "You got caught. Its just a week. I think you can manage." Bette said.

    "Fine." Angelica said heading upstairs.

    "What was that all about?" Tina asked.

    "She cut again today." Bette said.

    "What did you tell her?" Tina asked.

    "No more until after the break." Bette said.

    "That’s reasonable." Tina said.

    "I thought so." Bette said watching Tina intensely in the mirror as she removed her robe and started to get dress.

    "Babe if you stare any harder you are going to burn a hole right through me." Tina said without turning around. She knew that one of Bette’s favorite past times was watching her get undressed and she didn’t mind watching her put them back on again either.

    3. Great chapter. In a way I want you to hurry and post the next chapter and in a way…I don’t, cause that will mean the end. But, I can’t wait to read the next one. I’m really going to miss this story. Post soon.

    5. How come you stopped? Oh well, I can wait, I think. I really do hate to see this story end but at least you have the other one that I love also. Thank you taking the time to write this wonderful tale of B&T and kids.
