Life with Mom and Tina Ch 44
“I dont know about all that. I just get them thats all.” Jess said.
“See Jess that is exactly what it is. We cant explain it but you have it. We thought Prue was crazy when she tried to tell us about your gifts how you understand people in ways no one else can, and how you are a natural at everything you do.” Bette said.
“I am lost. Is this supposed to be about me or you guys?” Jess asked.
“Its about us. We need you to help us by no longer being the middle person.” Tina said.
“What do you mean?” Jess asked.
“When ever the boys have a night mare or get hurt or want anything they always go to you first. We know that sometimes you send them to us for our sakes.” Bette said.
“So you dont want me to help them anymore?” Jess asked.
“We want you to help with them just not as much. We want to have the same bond with them that we do with you.” Bette asked.
“Okay whatever Can I go?” Jess asked. she was a little upset but she wasnt sure what had just happened.
“Yeah sure sweetie.” Tina said. She knew Jess needed to process everything. Jess got up and walked out of the room. Ian came out of his bedroom and chased after her.
“Sissy.” He called. Jess didnt say anything she knew he had, had a nightmare. She picked him up and walked back into Bette and Tinas room, handed him to Tina and walked out. He struggled to go after her. She closed the gate at the bottom of the stairs and the one at the top so he couldnt follow her. He got loose from Tina and cried for Jess at the bottom of the stairs. Tina picked him up and brought him back into their room.
Over the next two weeks Jess hibernated in her room with the gates shut and ignored the boys the best she could. Bette and Tina were really starting to realize just how much Jess did for them.
Jess was spending more time with her friends and less time with the family. Shannon was spending all her free time with her girlfriend Callie. So she wasnt around much.

“So Jess what are you getting for your 16th birthday?” Ally asked.
“Im getting a car. My Grandpa is coming tomorrow and he said we would go shopping for one this weekend.” Jess said.
“Arent you having a party?” Heather asked.
“Not really I just having some friends over to hang out by the pool with no parental or family involvement and we are going to the Madonna concert that night. My moms are insisting on having a family party that afternoon.” Jess said.
“Birthday Parties arent Jesss thing.” Kelly said.
“Oh so What kind of car do you want?” Ally asked.
“I am thinking that I want one of the new Jeeps with a soft top, but we will have to see what my moms have to say. He said I could get anything I wanted.” Jess said.
“What store are we going to first?” Kelly asked.
“I wanted to go in Hot Topic first. They had a couple cool shirts I wanted to get. Oh and arent we going to get clothes for camp today too.” Jess said.
“Yeah. I have to call my mom and ask if I can use her card.” Ally said.
“Okay.” Heather said.
“Jess you are so lucky your grandmother lets you have as much as you want on your card.” Ally said.
“You know its not like that. She controls money from my trust fund and you know I have an allowance.” Jess said.
“I know I wish I didnt have to call every time I wanted something.” Ally said.
“Yeah well at least you have your dad I would trade everything just to have him back.” Jess said.
“Im sorry I know thats not what I meant.” Ally said.
“I Know I sorry I snapped. Lets go.” Jess said.
“So Jess have you gotten any closer to making a decision about whether you want to graduate a year early?” Heather asked

i am still loving your story… with all of the kids its like my house… please continue
I am enjoying the story as well. I am confused though as to how Jess is now sixteen when she was only seven when Bette and Tina met. I clearly missed some years, I had no idea nine years had passed…will have to go back and read again! Thanks!
It appeared that Jess only bonded with Ian she rarely every mentioned teddy or did anything with him. So i am a bit confused that bette and tina stated she looked after the boys.
Holy crap so Jess may be able to graduate early? Is there anything this girl CAN’T do? lol
i like your story so much and you know that! i hope Jess will be more understanding with her moms, i can’t wait for the party and for the shopping car day!
Good chapter. Wow Jess is awesome and she can do anything that want, good girl. Ok let see whats next, thanks!
Jessie has always been the best big sister especially to Ian. Even though at times Jess may have felt like she was loosing her place in Bette’s life she was always there for her brothers. It is nice to see that Bette and Tina have figured that out and are trying to let Jess be the sister instead of the mini parent. This is a great story in that it shows a committed couple can be good storytelling. Now, if IC and company can get that through their thick skulls the show would be fun to watch again.
When my boys were younger,we put a revoling door in, [not really] Having a house full of hairy leg boy were the good old days. Love this story, Jesse was always a smart girl and took all the special classes. so I can see her being a senior in H/school thanks
